Turning a BLT studio into a 1 bedroom

I posted a few months ago asking about putting a crib in the kitchenette at our BLT Studio, as our daughter is a very light sleeper. Well I am VERY happy to report that everything worked out perfectly. We put the crib (along with duffy) in the kitchenette for naps and and at night. I ordered a curtain and tension rod for $17 on Amazon Prime Now. We even brought the video monitor which fit perfectly in the upper cabinet. Our 14 month old had no idea she was sleeping in a kitchen.

I was a little worried the fridge would heat up the area but the monitor had a thermometer and the kitchenette was never warmer than the rest of the studio.

When we needed to get into the fridge we moved the crib out of the way and put it in the entry way which was slightly annoying but it all worked out.

I have always liked the little kitchenette in the BLT studio, glad you were able to use it in this way!

That is exactly what we did as well. Curtain and all. Worked out great.

So true. DH was climbing out of his crib *and hiding* at 9 months old.
