Turning 50 at the 50th

My SIL is turning 50 while we are at Disneyland this March. What would be a great way to celebrate while we are there? There will be 4 adults and 2 children there to celebrate.

We want to make it special sincer her birthday matches DL!!!!

First of all get her a "It's My Birthday" sticker at City Hall.

Then there's a "It's My Birthday Party" special event (see link)

Finally there's having a special dinner somewhere on the grounds. If the Blue Bayou is closed, I'd suggest the Napa Rose for a really special dinner (though $$$) or the Rainforrest Cafe for a raucous event.

You should get her the 50th golden Mickey ears and have her name embroidered on it! A great reminder of her 50th birthday at DL's 50th celebration!

There are also 50 hidden "50th" symbols around the park. While you might not want to get all of them, it would be really fun to have pictures of your SIL posing by various 50th signs! (especially if she is wearing her 50th golden ears!)

I'm guessing there is a list of where the 50th symbols are around the park, and/or CM's could help you.

I know that this does not have to do with the "50th", but something that was special for the occasion that we did for my mom and sister, (who hadn't been to Disneyland in about 10 years) was for us to do the Fantasmic balcony seating. They had never seen it before....It was a one time thing for us, and I think it made the whole vacation more special for them. Our kids really enjoyed it too, but you will get different opinions on whether it is worth the price or not. For us, it was really neat and made our time there with them very memorable!
