Ugh, we got a lot of snow over the weekend, but luckily, I don't think it was as bad as it was supposed to be. And since it was 50 here yesterday, most of it is melted, but today it's obnoxiously cold again!

I love Holiday Wishes, my favorite fireworks in Disney! I always try not to take pictures but I can't help it, they just look so pretty!

The parade is my favorite too, but it's so hard to get good pictures of it!

Wow, your photopass pictures are awesome! We didn't get that many, and actually, I didn't even bother looking at them, since I didn't order the CD (if they even have that, I don't pay attention anymore since I know I won't order it!)

I wanted to meet Pooh and Friends, but the line was always too long.

Great updates! I can't believe we were at the same party and didn't walk by each other once!

Kathy I'd say you had a pretty great day!
We were in a similar spot for the Christmas parade but I was sitting on the ground so all my photos of the parade and characters is looking up their noses. You got a great photo of Santa and his sleigh.

I'm sure Cayley enjoyed an extra spin on BTMRR with you. That is a cute photo of you guys.

That was great timing with the Pooh characters photo stop. I loved their winter wear! I do love the holiday borders... having gone a little crazy with my Photopass pics I think I have 3 versions of many photos because I couldn't decide on the borders. Great job. Especially the ones on Main Street before you exited.

Oh and about my comedian at home that keeps me entertained similar to Mark - such a true statement! Everyday Michael's like that. I don't have a lack of tears of laugher most days.

Great update. I didn't get on many rides the night of the party. The lines for characters was insane. Skipped wishes too but did the Jingle Cruise instead. NO LINES at all. We got off the ride to a 30 minute wait. When those parade crowds hit the waits become long.

I don't think I got any photopass pics leaving. Hope you have been warm here. We are -20 with wind chills and our schools stayed open. We kept the grandkids home. That is just too cold and the heat in their school is spotty on a good day. Is it baseball season yet?

Cayley and I had so much fun and knew the parade wouldn't be starting yet, that we went for a second ride.

I could stand a little more. We were on the snow/freezing rain line Sunday. We got rain about all day Sunday that turned to snow in the afternoon. So basically we have about 2 inches of frozen slush that got covered by 5 inches of snow. Might get up to 0 this afternoon though!

Tuesdays is one of the perfect days for attending these hard ticket events (we did both the Halloween and Pirate & Princess parties on those days with equal success on getting on rides).

Kathy We had freezing rain last night !! It was awful I drove so slow and was a wreck !!! This has been the worst winter we have had in a long time and I was getting spoiled !!!

November, December, January, February and March -- I hate them all. I just wish we would have more than two seasons -- winter and spring/summer (depending on the year).

Seriously, enough snow and cold. In Disney, it doesn't stick or get to 15 below. I'm glad they were smart and cancelled school...the kids safety is much more important.

That's the way to do it! Have a few in your family hold some spots for the parade and go for not one, but TWO rides on BTMRR! Cayley looks like she had a blast!

It worked out great. I think BTMRR is one of Cayley's favorites; she even asked to sit in the last seat of the last car and they couldn't resist that smile.

i am a bit tired of snow. we have over 3 feet right now.. (i'm very close to the lake) the cold?? is kicking my tail end...
i heard we are in a state of emergency.. does that mean the city is closed?!?! that would make me a happy girl...

I'm sick of winter in general. I hate snow, I hate cold. I couldn't believe all of the snow when went in the city today. We only got about 18 inches total. I wish the city would close (although the way those politicians work you would think it was closed all of the time).

I just love all the pictures of you and Mark. Wow - the park looks almost empty by the time you guys left, but you are still going strong - all smiles. I also love the pic of you guys with the 100 acre friends. Mark and Eeyore are getting real chummy in that one picture!

You are very kind, but there are those who are way above me in doing TR's. And I really don't know why you don't do one...you'd be great.

I loved the pictures with the Pooh characters. Tigger is my second favorite character. (can you guess my favorite, LOL). We did Crystal Palace for the first time in December and loved the characters... We have booked it again for June.

Gee, I wonder who your favorite character is? Maybe it's: No, I know who it is: CP is our favorite character meal.

I'm with you about snow; the only place I want to see and experience snow is when its 80 degrees on Main Street. It's a whole lot more enjoyable than the blustery -9 degrees and snowing junk that is going on as I type.

We've not had any snow since Sunday but flurries are in the forecast for tomorrow. I think we are over our -15 and feeling like -50 below.

With the latest round of discounts released by Disney we changed from the AKL to the CR-CL, doing the DxDP and added a fourth person. We are taking my late brothers 12 year old daughter (my niece) to Disney for her first visit. The dates have not changed though.

Never watched Wishes from there. You always learn something new on the DIS Boards.

It's a good spot like I said for the fireworks, but not so good for the show on the castle.

It was a good day. Up their noses? I'm not sure what is worse--up their noses or their behinds. I was shocked that Santa was the best picture I got.

Kathy I've never watched downtown Abbey -- i'm sure I would like it, I just don't have that mch time for tv. As it is, I totally immersed myself in Once Upon a time over Christmas but have not been back on Netflix since 12/30. No Time!

I'd say that Mark is more like the Grumpy in the show---he started out as Dreamy but had to give up his Dream (love) and now he's Grumpy)---except that Mark clearly did not have to give up his dream -- he is living with her everyday and enjoying every moment of it.

but I do love his shirt collection!

You and Cayley did it right hitting BTMRR twice while the gang waited for the parade!

I never would have guessed that the bridge by Splash was good viewing for Wishes. I'll have to make a note of that one!

You read right. I am so tired of Disney overselling things that you can't enjoy yourself after spending all that additional money. We could either do rides or see characters. There has to be a balance where you can fit in a little of both and that's just impossible with the number of tickets they sell.
