Yay, the Peoplemover! One of my favorites! You know, I've still never done the Laugh Floor...isn't that crazy! I can't believe there are still things in Disney that I've never done! But I haven't seen Monster's Inc so I never bother!

We love the Peoplemover too. You've never seen Monster's Inc? You must...it's a great movie.

Wow, that DIS meet was crazy, so many people there, how awesome! I can't believe I was at that party and I didn't know about it! I was probably in line to meet Mary Poppins at that time, since that was my priority of the night!

I think with you making your plans so late that you probably missed that post in my daily updates. We would have loved to have had you there.

We happened to get a really good fare for this trip when I booked it in June. I think our airfare was around $236 a person which we found to be excellent. I prefer flying out of O'Hare, but often we end up going to Midway because Southwest/Air Tran tend to be cheaper. I've been looking for September and all flights (United, American) are over $380. I did get $260 on Southwest for my May/June girls trip.

We were at Disney during part of your trip, we didn't enter any of the parks except the Studios (after closing) and I think that's the night you went to MVMCP so we didn't spot you guys, or Scott or anyone else we were on the lookout for.

I've never stayed on the DVC side of Boardwalk, but have stayed in the Inn many times. I love the walk to Epcot and the Studios! At least you could see a little blue water from your balcony

I will certainly try to remember to let you know when we are next in Dubuque for a long period. I know we hope to go next month, but it will only be a day and a half and we'll be at wrestling the entire time. I hated that our plans changed, but the streets were awful and we were safer at home.

Wanted to stop by and say hi. I am one of the grannies that was suppose to have been on the trip with Rosie and Janet but alas I managed to injure my back .... 3 compression fractures ... so perhaps a Dis meet at another time. For now I'll just sit back and enjoy your TR!

In no particular order, my thoughts...What a fun DISmeet! I'm with Mary and Mark on Space Mountain. I ride it once per trip to make my boys happy, but other than that....they ride it without me. I have never tried The Plaza, but the sundaes look yummy. Your room at the BW is lovely. Thankfully, you don't have to stare at the creepy clown whenever you are out on your balcony. I think arriving by the boat would be a nice treat. We always are on a Disney bus or we take the Monorail. I keep forgetting about the boat.

It was a fun DISmeet. Mark loves the ride, but he had neck surgery a few years ago and that one is just too jerky for him. You are sweet to ride it once with your boys. The sunades at The Plaza are my favorite. Yes, I'm glad I didn't have to see that clown. We enjoy the bus to the Studios and back.

Kathy, LOVE your DISmeet photos!! We actually arrived Tuesday evening but too late to do much except go eat. That would of been cool to be able to join you all (we went on Sunday). On this trip we were fortunate to meet up with several DISers including of course you guys, Mary & the girls, and Scott too.

I've always told Mark he should have been a vet or a teacher. he's great with animals and kids. That's too funny that you think of Mark.

As I posted below, the PeopleMover is a must do for us., as well as the Laugh floor ... Sam just loves it and submits a joke every time in hopes that it might be selected (which happened on the trip with her BFF). Plus both girls got the spotlight as they were wearing their Ohana leis on her heads and they were teased about it (which of course they loved) Think we did the LF about 5 times on that trip!!

I love that they got called on because of the leis on their heads.

We enjoyed our "movie night."

Kathy & Pas... my DS wasn't quite 4 when we took him to MK for a day with my Mom & Dad.... he was fearful of so much but the PeopleMover was the big hit... we rode that way too many times to count. It will always be a special memory for me, and its a must-do every trip.

That is a good memory.

It was so much fun putting faces to names.

Gosh I wish I was on the TTA right now instead of in the middle of another snow storm!

Tell me about it. Our snowblower went out yesterday and we have shoveled 12 times over the last three days. I'm so sore that I scheduled a massage for Saturday. We ended up with over 9 inches; it finally stopped snowing. Now the frigid weather comes. A big high of -10 on Monday.

After our Mega DIS meet, hot chocolate and cookies and a bio-break, it was time to party.

Our first stop, and one of my favorites:



There was no line so no time to stop and play. Someone we know had to sneak in one hit on the drums:











I love this ride...it always makes me smile.

From there, it was off to see Ariel and her friends. Again, no line, but I did stop and get a few pictures as we walked:

So we left Ariel and headed to Storybook Circus so that Mark could see his beloved Dumbo.

We let Mark have a Dumbo to himself and Mary and I each rode with one of the girls



Cayley would often tell me that we needed to get a "selfie".





We went into the gift shop. I wanted the t-shirt I had eyed in August but they didn't have it. But the girls got some cotton candy



And Mark got the girls Christmas light necklaces.



We then headed to the Haunted Mansion.

I love that new mermaid ride. The details are awesome. And with the two Dumbo it is amazing there are no lines. We walked right on. I am interested to hear your story about wishes and fireworks as we had a terrible incident there. If fact I wrote Disney about it and they called me to see exactly what happened and where we were standing.
