Count me in. I love the Boardwalk, we stayed there twice this year and had great stays. It is so nice to be able to walk right into Epcot. This was the first December that we have not made it to WDW in 20 years so am going to get my Christmas fix through your trip report.

It was really a great resort.

We also had bad service at the plaza plus we were jammed in between two big tables with loud people, food was good not sure we will go back though.

The ride photos are cute! It is sooo nice of you to ride that lovely (jerky) ride with the girls. Every time I go, I say it's the last time! I keep hoping it will some how magically turn into the DL version and I will love it!
But of course, you must have a coffee to keep you up for the party!!! At least you didn't need it to keep you warm.

I swear that ride has gotten jerkier since they refurbed it. There is no way Mark can ever do that one again. I hope to try the DL version in 2015. Nope, certainly did not need the coffee to keep me warm.

You are keeping us in suspense waiting on the big Meet!!

Great update! I am glad you found the bag! Speaking of bags.....I am kinda obsessed with your OKW bag! That thing is so darn cute! Buzz is one of my favorite rides (could also be because Buzz is one of my favorite characters), you guys got great photos on it! I never know where that photo is so I always look lost lol. My mom is the same way with SM. She hates it. Probably why she loves going to WDW with our family friend who hates most rides lol. Gives her an excuse to skip it. Although she does love Rockin Rollercoaster.....not sure what is up with that lol. Looking forward to the next update!

I love that OKW bag. The last girls trip, I forgot to bring my "park bag" so ran to the gift shop and got that one. It's very light and I love it. How do you LOVE Rockin Rollercoaster and NOT Space Mountain?

The Beach Club rooms look gorgeous! I'm not sure I could handle the Clown Pool though. I wonder if you could request to NOT have a view of it.

I think you made a little typo...it was the Boardwalk we stayed at (stayed at the Beach Club in June and didn't care for it). I suppose you can NOT pay for a water room.

The Plaza, yum! Sorry that the service was so poor but the food still looks delicious.

The food was very good as always.

I think you got the worst seat possible on SM. I found the back seat to be the roughest when I rode it 7 times last March.

It is terrible and I will NOT sit there again...girls or no girls.

Kathy, sorry that your meal was a thumbs down at The Plaza... we've only eaten there once (2006) ... not much that I remember except the victorian ladies.

The meal it self was delicious, it was just the poor service.

Got Sam to try Space Mountain last year and she loves it! In December, it sounded so rickety... and our car did not sound like it latched on in the beginning so the whole ride I was wondering it we should blast off the rail..lol

That would have scared the you know what out of me.

(btw its great that you do it for the girls.. FABULOUS photo!!

Those smiles get me every time.

We do prefer EE over SM.. and Sam's favorite at MK is Splash Mtn.

I prefer Big Thunder over all of them.

So thankful that bag was only misplaced (but the side effect of extra souvies is always good) Buzz is another favorite of ours... and we kind of get that competitive look too (another set of great photos)

You are so good to ride with the girls, I haven't been on Space Mountain since the 80's! I do like EE, but won't do RR. Any roller coaster that goes upside down makes me dizzy for quite awhile.

I would like not to go, but I just can't let those little sweethearts down. I definitely cannot do upside down.

I've never been to the Plaza, not sure why.

We really like it and we will be back.

I left you with my riding Space Mountain with the girls and having some popcorn.

We still had a little time before our DIS meet, so we decided to hit a few more attractions. First up, a favorite of all:





Someone was getting a little sleepy and we told her she needed to perk up...we had rides and people to see:



From there, we headed to something Mark and I had not done in quite a while:















It's a cute show, but not something Mark and I have the need to see every trip.

It was then time for our MEGA DIS meet. Tammy (Tinker_Tam here on the DIS) had texted me that they were all waiting for us. We hustled over to our meeting spot which was right near Space Mountain by the restrooms (there's a long bench there). We arrived and were amazed by the number of people who showed up.

Here's a few pictures we took at the DIS meet. I may forget some names so please don't be offended.

We all visited for awhile and then it was time to hit the road. We had rides to ride, pictures to take and hot chocolate to consume.

Our first stop was for some hot chocolate and cookies:



After getting our hot chocolate and cookies, we headed towards Fantasyland. I took a picture of this (sorry...a little blurry)



We made a stop at the bio break place and then we were ready to get our ride on. Which ride would be first? I can tell you it's one of my favorites!!!

At this time, I want to wish each and every one of you a very Happy 2014. It has been my distinct pleasure to get to know all of you. And I've said it before, and it's worth repeating...DIS friends are the BEST friends!

I love that the CMs wore a special costume for the MVMCP. I noticed that CMs were showing up with evergreen tree shirts around the time they started letting party goers into the park.

I'm shocked that Mark wasn't "that guy" for Monster's Inc. He's a natural you know.

We were going to go to the movies tonight but they are predicting 6 - 12 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow night. The roads were wicked when we went to dinner at 4 p.m., so we decided to come home and just chill here. We've watched Beauty & The Beast and Aladdin; now we are watching a Barry Manilow tape (yes, I'm old and LOVE Barry Manilow!).
