Turkeys! You can't rush perfection Michael!

Love the Fantasmic pics!! We haven't seen it yet and I'm still kicking myself for not taking the time to do it. :sad2:

Sounds like your DHS day went pretty well ~ glad you won out and got seats early! :thumbsup2

Sorry I managed to fall off the face of the Earth if you follow me on FB or twitter you know what's up with my crazy life!

I keeps meaning to see the little mermaid show, but I never get to it. And I'm super jealous you made it to Fantasmic. I have tried in vain for the last 4 trips now to make it, and keep failing miserably. I'm glad you got to see it!

You should go sometime! Take your hubby! Or go to the one in DL. I haven't seen the show but I hear it's pretty much the same.

Haha, look at Sulley's eyes! They're going in 2 different directions!

The wait for Fantasmic can get pretty long. I don't mind waiting that long if we're sitting, but I think being in such close proximity to other people (especially if they're being rude and inconsiderate) makes the situation more tense. I can't imagine waiting there when it's hot out! That would be torture.

I love how Megara is on the boat at the end. I was excited to see her!
I know! I've never seen Megara it seemed so random to have her there. But it was cool to see a character that is almost never in the parks! It was not a bad wait. I think we only had to wait about 30 minutes. Most of that was spent doing the wave!

Next time I'm at DHS I'm definitely seeing some of the shows! I think that will help to pass the time there - we have a hard time spending more than a few hours there! :scared1: I'm glad you enjoyed Fantasmic! I have yet to see it! It's on my list for the Disneymoon, though! :thumbsup2
You should go see it! I liked it not as much as the World of Color at the DLR but it is still a good show!

It's a fun show, isn't it? Did you enjoy Fantasmic better here or at DLR?

Sadly I haven't managed to watch the show at DLR. I don't know if I am going to see that for Thanksgiving either. I want to see a show I haven't seen before and I might be doing parades because of my Dad and the in laws. So we'll see what happens. But I did enjoy the World of Color at DLR. I have have more about it once I start my TR for my birthday trip.

This morning no Turkeys....I was a little sad. It was a little sad that it was our last day too! I really wanted to keep the trip going. But I digress.

So we jumped downstairs to the buffet to grab a quick breakfast. Our waiter was awesome! He was from the middle east and was really nice to like super nice once he found out I was Turkish. I guess it's true what they say that when you find someone from your culture you tend to be friendly to them because you can understand each other or something like that.....

Shortly after that we headed to the bus stop. We waited about a hour because we took too long at breakfast. So of course we missed rope drop. Oh wells!

Took this nice picture as we were coming inside the park.

We got distracted by African drums. It was right in front of the Tusker House to I landmarked it because they were playing out there almost all day.

We stopped and picked up a fast pass for the Safari since I heard it was a really popular ride. Then we rode the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch but I didn't get off the train. I heard there was a certain large spider there I'd rather not come with in 100 yards of. But I guess I might have missed out on some characters!

After the train our Safari was ready for us. So I'm sure all of you know how this one goes. So here are some shots from it.

Sorry about this one we were at an awful angle....there was just no way getting around it...

Can you pick out the sleeping Lions?

After that we got on EE. Which made me sick again...so we only rode it twice. I think it's going backwards that messes me up. We ran over to Dinosaur which is the part of the TR where DH askes me where is Indiana Jones? I tell him yet again that, that's at DLR. But I think I could tell him that a 1000 times and he'd still ask me if Indy is at WDW. HA!

Rode Dinosaur once. Because shortly after we got off the ride the fast pass went all the was to freaking 4pm! This was noon ish. So we headed back towards the Tusker House since our ADR was at one.

We met an awesome Photo Pass taker. He was actually from where I lived before I enlisted. We even went to the same high school of course we had a 5 year difference but it was cool to meet someone from GA. He was great and joked around with us. This is the lovely shot he took with our camera.

After we chatted with Brian some more we headed over the the Tusker House. I would highly, highly , highly, highly, highly, highly, highly recommend eating there if you never have. I had the best food EVER it was just too good. I kept going back for the rice with almonds in it. Now because I have braces I can't eat it. But wow the food there really blew me away I would be back there in a heart beat!

The back was going to close in about two hours and I really wanted to go see Festival of the Lion King. I have seen the Lion King in Vegas but I really just wanted to see it at AK. So on the way to Lion King we bumped into none other than!!!

Up next Festival of the Lion King and one final photo with a Disney Character can you guess who it is???

Cute picture in front of the tree! :lovestruc And I'm glad to hear you loved TH! We do too - we've had both lunch and breakfast there and both were amazing!

Boo for no turkeys!

I feel the same way about Rafiki's planet watch. It seems so pointless - plus, I've been able to keep this train a secret from DH or we'd get nothing else done :rotfl:

Hmm.... Tusker House you say? I'm looking for lunch restaurant for September... we may have to check it out!

Hi Dina. Great shots of AK! I'm glad you enjoyed TH....we went there for Breakfast and really enjoyed it too.

I'm guessing you saw Donald....

Sounds like you guys had an amazing trip! :goodvibes

We haven't eaten at Tusker House since they converted into a Table Service (I loved the rotisserie chicken they had when it was a Quick Service!) ~ we'll have to give it another try when we go back.

LOVE the pic of you guys with Lilo and Stitch! And how cool that you ended up meeting someone right from your own town in GA ~ it really is a small world, LOL!

I agree with you that usually finding someone from your own culture can be a good thing. There's like an unspoken yet mutual understanding. Haha, understanding of what, I don't know, but sometimes it's just there!

Haha, you're so silly to say that EE made you sick, but you still rode it twice!

It's ok Dina, I've been super busy to update too! It's good to be back!

I agree with southernTink, I love the shot in front of the tree. Too bad it was so dark.

Tusker House huh? I'm hesitant to try it cause I can get real Asian food any time I want. Maybe on a future trip.

Wow, what a small world with Brian! Even going to the same highschool! I feel a song coming on.....

Ok, all caught up again!

Good thing you went into Fantasmic when you did! I still have not seen it... I just can't make myself wait the hour or so.

Tusker House sounds delicious... I'm off to see about getting a lunch there for our trip...

Sorry to hear you're nearing the end, it's been fun to read!
