Turkeys! You can't rush perfection Michael!

Once we finished lunch I said we should check out the World Showcase. I really had no plans what so ever we just went over there. DH was getting a little uncomfortable because he was getting hot. Haha I always tell him to put on shorts but of course he never listens. I should just set out his clothes for him each day so he can't complain about being hot.

Anyways we made it to the outpost.

DH played the drums a little bit for me.

DisneyWorld2010144.jpg

Then we hit Mexico. That's funny how you can travel from Africa to Mexico in 2 minutes!

DisneyWorld2010139.jpg

I think the QS was being worked on. Not that I would ever eat in Mexico because I live 60 miles from the boarder. Do I really need to go to FL just to eat Mexican food when I can get the real deal at home? Ummm no.

We saw some Mariachi players to! They were pretty awesome and we bump into again later when we went on Donald's Three Cabanaros ride.

DisneyWorld2010140.jpg

We went to China and I started to look for Mulan. She wasn't inside so I paced around for a bit to let DH cool off inside the store.

DisneyWorld2010142.jpg

Then we went back outside and I noticed a small line. Oh it's Mulan!! Yay!

So I hoped in line! She was super cute and super sweet. She was taller than me though! Why does everyone have to be taller than me??! (I'm only 5ft by the way...) She asked me if DH was of course my Capt. I kind of laughed because I was thinking in military terms and I almost blurted out no. But then I told her yes. She chatted me up for a little bit and then had to let me go.

DisneyWorld2010143.jpg

Then we headed over to Germany. I skipped Norway because frankly I can't stand that the ride there. I thought it was kind of lame the last time we were there.

DisneyWorld2010141.jpg

Then we saw Snow White!

DisneyWorld2010145.jpg

Up next you mean there is more than one Disney Princess?!?!?

Oh...I missed Mulan at Epcot! We went there so many times and either the queue was really long or she wasn't there! Thanks for posting that pic of you and her.

Miracle Fruit...??

I didn't know that Disney grew miracle fruit!
Okay, let me explain what miracle fruit is. We studied this in bio this year!

Miracle fruit is a fruit that is usually grown in Africa. It's called "miracle fruit" because the carbohydrate miraculin binds with the taste receptors on your tongue. For about an hour, everything tastes a little different. We had a party in December, where we all tried out the fruit and then ate everything. It was an interesting experience.

The fruit isn't actually swallowed, just chewed.

Okay, I totally brought this off track, but I'm gonna keep reading this TR!

She was so great! I walked around just to make sure I saw her. She is my favorite princess. She's been super sweet both times I met her at the Epcot too!!

Wow thank you so much for that info! I had no idea. I was just thinking hrm maybe it takes great or it's a really good spice since I didn't see any fruit growing on it.

And thanks for joining in!

So here I am in China and super excited I got to bump into Mulan!!!

I said last time we just skipped over Norway and then went to Germany we saw the topeary of Snow White and then we glance over to the wishing well cause there was a line. Next thing you know there is Snow White! I was told DH we have to make stop! We jumped into line. It wasn't very long though. SW was very very sweet to a child with Special Needs. There was a duck walking around her almost like it was trying to talk to her and the child. She kept talking to the duck and the duck almost seemed to be listening to her. It really brightened up the child's face and it was really cute. After a few more families I got to meet SW. She told me I was such a beautiful young woman and she loved my dress. I told her Thank you of course and she spoke to me about how beautiful the day was and how she loved my hair and I told her we had lunch yesterday and she giggled and said wasn't it a great expericance? Then I took a picture with a quick hug and off I went to America!

DisneyWorld2010146.jpg

DisneyWorld2010147.jpg

.....

Wait technically I'm in America.....hrm...

I found this mail box and I'm sure many folks on the DIS know about it but I never noticed it last time. I told DH we have to bring a postcard here to mail to my BFF in North Dakota sometime. It was would be cool!!

DisneyWorld2010148.jpg

Then we went to Morocco where it happened yet again. The CM's swore I could speck French and I was more that likely from there. I had to tell them no...I'm from Turkey and sadly I only speak English.

DisneyWorld2010149.jpg

DisneyWorld2010150.jpg

We saw another line this time for Jasmine. Every time I would try to take a picture with her over the last two years it's been a horrible failed attempt! Just awful but this time I did it! Any the couple before us were really happy to see Jasmine too. They were expecting and Jasmine made sure to point that out and give congrats on their first baby. It was such a special moment for them and Jasmine was full of hugs. Then it was my turn. I told her I kept getting mistaken for her all day at Epcot today. I said I didn't think I looked that much like her. She laughed at me and patted my back and said well it's hard look so cute isn't it? She laughed with me a few more times and then we took the picture and off we ran to France!
DisneyWorld2010151.jpg

Our ADR for Chefs de France wasn't till much later in the day. We saw yet another line. I think we picked it just right that day! And saw Belle. There was two lines one for Belle and the Beast and one for just Belle. The Beast wasn't out yet and I wasn't really interested in him unless he was in human form so I said let's just get Belle. The line was very quick. She was great! I told her it was really really hot today and she laughed at me and said well that is the weather around here where are you from? I said of course Tucson and she laughed again and said oh yes...that is a dry heat! Then we took a picture and off we went.

DisneyWorld2010152.jpg

DisneyWorld2010153.jpg

I was kind of hungry and needed a snack. Normally I'm a very good girl when it comes to sweets and I won't indulge in them too much. But I guess DH managed to talk me into getting a pastry from France. He got a Coffee which would only wake him up but I forced him to drink water since it was so hot today. We secured a table only to have the birds that were after DH the past day to try and attack him. He swore the birds had be spying on him all day because he had very close calls with the birds nearly hitting him. So he said they all were trying very hard to fly into him. They have been watching all day. Or so he says. My DH is sooooo silly! He comes up with these crazy stories to tell me all day.

DisneyWorld2010154.jpg

DisneyWorld2010155.jpg

Then we stopped by Canada for a bit and went to Innovations.

DisneyWorld2010156.jpg

DisneyWorld2010157.jpg

We had to make a stop of course at SE. Our ride stopped I don't know why but every time we get on the ride it stops. It was cool. I got to listen to the Greeks talk about the world and math!

DisneyWorld2010158.jpg

Upnext RachelNinja told me I could make paper but where??? Where did she say again??

Ohh so many princesses! I love all the pictures. You're so lucky. I think DH would have left me after the 2nd princess :rotfl:

Yup! You lucked out. I saw Jasmine and Ali; but the line was soooo long and I didn't want to wait. I also saw Snow White and got a photo via Photopass...and that was it!

I was very very very lucky this trip!!! I can't believe the luck I had with all the princesses I think something told me at the time I choose to go to WS that, that would be when they would all be out! It was great!!

You know DH just deals with it. And he knows it makes me happy. And I think he only has to suffer one more time because we planning on making a family and I am not one willing to go to the parks knocked up. Now way no how! So I think DL will be our last trip for a while. So maybe it was like a sign that hey it might be a while before you come back here soooooo here is all the princess!! Haha.

Wow, the humidity really attacked your hair!

Oh my gosh you are telling me!! I had really nice pig tails earlier and I washed my hair that morning cause it was a lost cause to even think about keeping my hair straight. So it just progressivly got worse and worse! I was happy to come home just for my hair's sake!

Wow, you really lucked out with all of the princesses! I didn't see any when I was in WS :sad1:

Awwwwww...well maybe the next time you go. When it isn't cold!!! You'll see some! I hope you do!!!!

Im enjoying your report! I love all the princesses. Your pics are too cute!

Aww thank you so much! It was a lot of fun and I would so do it again next year only on our actually anniversary rather than in the beginning of summer.

We'll see what happens next year.

We made it to our way to back the future!~ We rode Ellen's Universe of Energy.

Here is DH yet again being silly! He is so good at that!

DisneyWorld2010163.jpg

Then we made our way to innovations where I stood in line with like 4 kids to make paper! I found it on our way out. It was really cool but sadly one little guy was afraid of making paper so he promptly cried when the lady helped him lift the tray. She then asked me if I was ready and of course I was! It was super cool!

Here is me with the end product!

DisneyWorld2010162.jpg

DH said since it was getting close to our ADR we should head back to the World Show case so we did.

We went to Mexico again and found a very nice British couple that picture taking swapped with us. I thought it was funny because they told us they were taking pictures of themselves together for most of the day and it was so nice of us to take one of them for them. I was of course looking for someone to take our picture that's why I asked them but it was nice to do something nice for someone else!

DH and I inside the temple in Mexico right before we hopped on Donald's Three Cabanaro's ride.

DisneyWorld2010164.jpg

We got to listen to some Mariachi players before we got on the ride. We swear it's like being back in Tucson! They were great but once you've heard Mariachi (IMO) you've heard them all.

After that we went back to American and bough some snacks and listened to the singers inside the American building. I want to call it the American Waterfront but I know that in Tokyo Disney Sea...please give me for not remembering the building's name..

Anyways some video of their sining and pictures!

DisneyWorld2010170.jpg

DisneyWorld2010171.jpg

Then we moved to Japan! Oh Japan how I miss you so!

DisneyWorld2010174.jpg

DH actually forced me to talk in Japanese this time. I was really freaking out but it was great! I stopped some of the CM's dead in their tracks. Because of course they were expecting English and I don't even remotely look Japanese. But I blurted our a thank you and asked how much some things were. A few of them were in such a state of shock they wouldn't stop talking to me in Japanese until I ran out of things I knew I could say. They asked all sorts of questions about us. Like when did we get married and how long I studied Japanese and why I even knew it in the first place. I told them that I lived there for 6 years in total. Four years because my parents were stationed there and then 2 years when I enlisted. Which is where I met DH! They loved it and asked if I ever been to Tokyo Disneyland which I told them of course I had! That's where DH asked me to marry him. They enjoyed that we got books from Japan too. I got a cook book and DH got a book about Iai which is the art of drawing a sword. It was really great and made me realize my Japanese isn't as bad as I think it is.

DisneyWorld2010175.jpg

After Japan it was time for our ADR at Chefs de France.

We were seated about 15 minutes after we checked in. Our waiter was really nice....but maybe too nice to me and not DH? Anyways I forgot to take pictures of this....I'm sorry!

DH got the Duck and I got the veggie Lasanga. It was great! We devoured our food. I was kind of freaked out because our waiter was all up in my space and a bag of chips. I forget that Europeans don't have the same personal space that Americans do. So every time he came to our table he'd bend over the table or put his hand on the back of my chair and move in really close to talk to us. DH wasn't bothered by it but it freaked me out a little bit.

At the very end of our dinner our waiter (Thibald by the way) asked where I was from. Not DH just me. Am I that unusual looking??!?! I told him that I was from Turkey. Because I really am I was born there and I'm half Turkish. He said oh that is really far away isn't it? I said huh well yes but. DH finished and said I was born in Turkey but raised in America. Thibald said oh and then I told him DH was from the Phillipines. He didn't look like he cared all that much about where DH was from but talked to him about a girl he knew in France that was from there. He kind of looked like he only cared about where I was from and most of the waiters were looking at me kind of funny. It made me wonder if there was a running bet in the kitchen to find out where I was from. I'm glad DH wasn't too bothered by it and it turned into a great laugh to tell everyone later on after words.

So after dinner I was pretty full and felt pretty sleepy. So we both agreed to call it early. It was about 8pm by that time. So we passed by Canada and then waited for the bus back to SoG.

DisneyWorld2010177.jpg

I snapped a pictures of the world that they were getting really for Illuminations is that right??

DisneyWorld2010176.jpg

Up next Disney Hollywood Studios! Michael 8am is really not that early!

We loved making paper as well!! It was a great fun and educational activity for my son. Glad you liked it too.

Ok, that waiter would have creeped me out too! I find anyone that is overly friendly to just be weird (especially if they're only being nice to one member of your party)!

I can't believe I didn't find your TR before now ~ I have been so preoccupied with the end of the school year stuff I guess!

Loving the whole report and you got some really great pics. :thumbsup2 I was really hoping you wouldn't have to see too much rain after last year's trip...too bad there was such a big soaker on that first day.

It looks like you guys made up for that though ~ love all the character interaction!

Can't wait to read more! :goodvibes

It was kind of strange to say the least! I was like really your going to hit on me in front of my hubby?? Your crazy!! It was funny but just strange!

Thanks! Sorry I've been super busy with work and now my Dad is coming this weekend so I've been doing cleaning details! Not that he is worried about how clean my house is but you know you never want guests to see you messy home. I will continue this hopefully when he leaves. I'm thinking next week hopefully! I'm glad it was nice and warm almost the whole trip! Ha! :wizard:
