Haven't had one before, but want to try one in June. Where might I find them? TIA.

Wow, you havent lived. lol. You can find them down in frontierland just a little down and across from the bear band jamboree. ( And one is defniatly enough to split amongst two people, I think they're $4.95 or something like that...) Enjoy! :goodvibes

We got them in Epcot in the America pavilion. They are yummy but you do feel a bit like a cave person while eating one! LOL! :)

I will there in a little over a week. I think I might try one for the first time.

I got one in Tommorow Land...At the Lunching Pad,

"Galactic Gobblers" - smoked turkey legs $5.19

It was really really yummy :earsboy:

Mmmm...another turkey leg thread! :earboy2: And me with no breakfast this morning! Anyway, last time in MGM I had one at the stands in front of Rockin' Roller Coaster. Also Frontierland in MK and on Mainstreet.

I had my first one on our recent trip. I think the cost was like $5.50 and I got it in Frontierland. Eating it does seem barbaric but it is tasty! I actually ate it by myself but this was my dinner. Boy, was I full!

I didn't get one our first trip in '02 nor did I get a Mickey Bar. I think I may have scheduled our '03 trip just to rectify these mistakes! (Plus they offered a great deal with the Fairy Tale pkg!)

It was good, but.......

I got mine when we were at Blizzard Beach. Not the best place to sit and eat such a monstrosity! I saw on one of the Travel Channel's shows that these puppies come from 60 lb. turkeys!

I know they also sell them at AK, which is pretty gross, if you think about it. I like tear off little bits and dunk them in the tasty BBQ sauce. It's messy, though, but sooo worth it.

And those nasty white cannibalistic birds flock around you when you're eating them in Frontierland, hoping you'll toss them a bite. :confused3

I remember reading somewhere that they no longer sell turkey legs at AK. Probably has to do with decreased sales due to people worrying that it is actually an Emu leg. :rotfl2:
