Where can I find turkey legs in the parks? I'm not sure if we'll be at IOA or US our first day for lunch, but hubbie's got to have his turkey leg right off the bat!

They serve them at alot of the sidewalk carts at both parks.Realy easy to find, but the carts dont normaly serve them till about 11'ish.
To me they taste as good as Disney's.My son has to have one everytime we go.Then again he will eat one and meet us at Louie's for pizza and it still dont fill him up!!

I'm sure those turkey legs are good...at least they smell good...but every time I see someone devouring one I think of Night of the Living Dead or something with cannibalism.

Every time I see one, I think of waiting in line for the Doomsday haunted house last year, which had pretty much no line. But the drunk dude in front of us still had to run over to a nearby cart to get a turkey leg. Of course he didn't finish eating it before we reached the entrance, so his girlfriend shoved it down the front of her white pants! Lots of screaming and painful "dancing" ensued before she removed it and stashed it in his cargo pants. I wonder if she was too drunk to remember where the burns came from the next day. For me that was the defining moment of Halloween Horror Nights 2008.

Love the turkey legs.. I just hope they are as tasty as the ones at Disney!!!

Was it like this?

This is in Cardiff and is recent news. I haven't seen things get this bad at HHN yet. In fact this was the first year I actually saw TMs going up and down the lines warning people to put out their smokes or they would be kicked out.

I drooled over one of those turkey legs while sitting in my living room, watching the Food Network, one cold winter day in 2005. The turkey leg symbolized my quest for an Orlando vacation. Finally, in 2007 I had the chance to try one at the Enchanted Oak Restaurant (since torn down :sad1:). I was dissapointed in it. It was probably just as good as it was supposed to be, but I think I had built it up in my mind to be something much greater. And on a hot July day, a greasy piece of meat does not usually taste good to me...but given the choice of a cold winter day in Cleveland, or eating a turkey leg in Orlando...
