Turkey Legs - Yummy treat or nasty abomination?

Yummy, yummy, yummy! A trip to WDW is never complete without sitting in Frontierland watching Spectromagic whilst eating a Turkey Leg
Though have to same dems some BIG turkeys!!

yum, yum, yum. Emu, Turkey, Mutated Chickens, cross dressing pigs, I don't care, just plain yum. We have them here at the renaissance fair in our area. Yes they taste like ham, but that is the joy of the smoking

I had one once and I guess they're ok. I'd much rather have chicken fingers, but I'd eat a turkey leg if I was really starving.

I can't believe this poll/thread is still going! I started this over 2.5 years ago. That's pretty awesome for a thread I thought would die in a day or so.

As ever, it's still a toss-up as to whether people love 'em or hate 'em. I was at WDW about a month ago, and I have to say I didn't notice as many of those things for sale or being consumed by guests. I was there in the middle of the Food & Wine Festival. Maybe all that fried emu was taken over to one of the countries in EPCOT for them to turn into a "delicacy."

We love the turkey legs. We are a family of 5 and usually just split one, so we all get just a little bit each (we pull the meat off the bone not bite it off).

sorry, my vote is YUCKY
They smell good, but eewww....., besides I like white meat, the dark meat of chicken or turkey for some reason upsets my stomach

Sorry but I think they are the most disgusting things ever. Yeah they smell great but they taste like ham and they are impossible to eat. Once you get the first few bites into it then you start to hit the cartilige and GROSSVILLE

Just curious what others thought. I have to admit that they smell pretty good when my tummy is rumbling in MK, but when I actually see them, I start to get a little at the sight of them. Please submit your answers on this crucially important topic.

Every time we ever went we thought they smelled so good, so one time we finally tried them and they are not as good as they smell. It actually tasted like ham, which I was not expecting. I like ham, but not as a GIANT leg.

So count me as nasty! And where do those turkeys come from

WOW! I can't believe the polls are so close!
How can you guys NOT like the turkey legs?! I can understand if you're not a poultry person, or a BBQ person, but if you like meat, how can you not devour the t-legs?
YOU PEOPLE NEED HELP.......or maybe the leg-lovers need help....? Not likely.
