Turkey Legs - Yummy treat or nasty abomination?

Turkey legs - yummy treat or nasty abomination?

  • Turkey legs - ooooh, turkey legs (Homer voice). Yummy!

  • Turkey legs - eewwwwww. Nastiest stuff this side of a Fear Factor food-eating contest

  • I have no sense of taste and/or smell, so I have no opinion either way

To be honest, I never tried one. I have seen them at tons of places, but I am in Louisiana, so there is usually tons of other good food available.

I guess I will have to try it next time I see one.

Yummy abomination or even a nasty treat. The girls always have them and then complain that they aren't so good, yet they will surely insist on having them the next time we go only to repeat the experience.:confused3

pirate: DS8 had always wanted to try a WDW turkey leg. While we were at DHS in May, he tried his first turkey leg (and even gave me a little nibble). It was "okay". We were at MK this past September and he wanted to try a turkey leg again. We went to the infamous stand in Frontierland. :scared: It was DISGUSTING and bland. I wasn't even 100% sure if it was cooked thoroughly. They sure do smell good. :sad2: But, no more turkey legs for this family. :mickeybar We'll stick with Mickey bars and popcorn. popcorn::

I am always tempted by the smell and so finally bought one and thought it was disgusting. I don't understand how something can smell that good and taste so bad. By the way I am a meat loving girl. I would rather have steak and potatoes for dessert than anything chocolate (well almost anything).
