Just answering this poll made my mouth water in anticipation of vomitting! I am sure that they may taste delightful but they look so gross they make me gag!!! :crazy2: Now you guys are saying that they are actually emu legs?!!!!! :scared1: :faint: Thanks but I'll pass.

NOOOOO! Disney Turkey Legs are DELICIOUS! Just thinking about them makes my mouth water. Okay okay, yeah, I ain't gonna lie to ya, they don't look too appealing, but they are a Disney tradition, and they taste awesome, and let's not forget that it's a cheap way to feed 1.5 people, hahaha........but i always eat the whole thing! :rotfl2:

THis is what I was thinking. What's the big deal? Do people not serve the turkey legs at Thanksgiving?

We don't have turkey at Thanksgiving. Or any other holiday for that matter.

We have SEVEN people now who have no sense of smell or taste! This has moved from an epidemic to a pandemic. I mean, is life worth living if you can't smell the aroma/stench of turkey legs while strolling through Frontierland? ;)

Definitely no turkey leg lovers in this family. The look and smell is a turnoff for us. I'd rather have a Mickey bar!!!!!!

I always thought they smelled good, too. I eventually thought that I was doing a disservice to myself by not trying them, so I buckled and tried one...

it was gross. What is even more gross is watching people who touch handrails and ride vehicles all day picking those things clean with their fingers.

Does that make me obsessive compulsive?

For a long time, I thought they were the nastiest things at Disney but then I tried one. They are great. I can't wait to get one.

I've never had a turkey leg. They smell good, but they're so . . . PINK!!!! They kinda scare me! :scared1:

They so taste like ham I LOVE THEM. See my tag!!! I am hoping to have one this coming trip I so hope universal has them since we won't be in the WDW parks :( this time. Does anyone know if a turkey leg is available anywhere else?
"Handsomely packaged and delicious Hickory-Smoked Drumsticks, Wings and Drumettes. The popular Turkey Drumsticks are a favorite at Disney theme parks throughout the world!"

Also, some Wal*Marts have Pilgrim's Pride smoked turkey legs (prepared hot) in their deli section. They're very good!

I LOVE them. I went when I was 3 months pregnant I must of ate 10 of them. DH joked I ate my way around the kingdom.

I have never had one, i dislike eating anything from the bone, Also they ARE Turkey, not Emu, the emu thing is a rumor. Disney couldnot say they are turkey yet in actuality they be something else.

Turkey legs. I like 'em. Maybe it's the barbarian, medieval manly man, snortin', skritchen', spitten' kinda thing going on, but I like 'em!

Nuff' said I think.

:confused3 :thumbsup2

I don't know. It's apparently a big mystery. I'd like to know, myself, where exactly these things come from.

But then, it's probably like laws and hot dogs: you just don't want to see how either is made. :rolleyes2

I see our unfortunate group of people who have lost their senses of smell and taste has grown to 9 now. I think all these poor souls need a big :grouphug:.

Universal has them as well, and they also taste like ham.

First time I tried one I thought it yummy. Unfortunately, last go-round I got one that must have been undercooked. Ruined it for me. Indeed, typing this and thinking about eating one just made me throw up in my mouth. :scared:
Yikes that would ruin it for me too!
