Hey! Long time no talk! Heat wave today.....up to 20 w/5 inches of snow......Lake is frozen SOLID for the first time in the 6 winters we have lived here, usually the geese keep a place of open water w/their body heat.....guess they all went to NY to sit on runways! LOL Buisness is good.....as long as GMAC stays off my back.......but you probaly have the same issues! Boat show tonight in Chicago, thinking of trading the Q8 Tahoe in for a Moomba

Hi Turkeys!!

We just returned from spending the weekend at WDW. Overall, we had a great weekend!! We dressed in layers and were fine!! We met up w/ disfriends that live near WDW and had a fun time!! For those of you w/ children that will be visiting WDW, Mason loved the new Kimpossible adventures in Epcot. There are various scavenger hunts set up in the countries. There is also now an American Idol Experience at the Studios.

Only negative part of the trip, we left my car at my office parking lot. We always leave it there b/c I work 45 minutes north of where we live...it's on the way to WDW!! When we returned to my car we saw the driver's side window smashed in. The rock used was still in the car. Everything was turned upside down in the glove compartment and center area. All that was taken was my sirius radio. However, the window was smashed, the aim was not good so the door under the window was damaged and the car was a mess!! Talk about an unnecessary headache!! The car was towed and now I'm driving a rental until it can be repaired. At least the police officer allowed Mason to sit in the squad car and press the buttons for the lights and horns!!

Just a quick note for those wanting to stay at the Hyatt MCO prior to the cruise. We bought one of their stay certs. for $135 per night ( regular price over $220 plus tax) with the stay cert. it includes all taxes. Any way ...In talking to the girl at Hyatt there are a limited number of rooms available for the Certs. So bottom line if you want to stay at the Hyatt MCO and use a stay cert. buy it now and book it now.

We recommend the 12 meter yacht race in St. Martin. It was amazing!! The sailboats are authentic America's Cup sailboats and the sailors raced in the America's Cup. We plan on doing this again!!!

Our DD Rachel (who will have just turned 15 when we sail) is thrilled that her BFF, Shanelle, will be sailing with us again this cruise. (Shanelle's mom confirmed it today.) They had SO MUCH FUN during our Turkey cruise 2007, and they're looking forward to it again.

How fun for Rachel!! My DD Leah is excited that her BFF (also named Leah) and her family will be on the cruise! Logan, however, is not so excited that his sister is old enough to be in the Teen Club with him.

I have a feeling that if they are showing the new 3D Jonas Brothers movie in the Buena Vista theater, we won't see Leah and Leah until the day we leave.

Laura, what a coincidence. When we sailed in 2004, Rachel's BF (at the time) and her family sailed with us, and her friend's name was Rachel! We'd ask, 'where are Rachel and Rachel?' Or, where are 'the Rachels?"

So, Leah is also 15? Rachel will just be old enough to go to the teen club (is it 15?) but probably won't go because Shanelle won't be old enough yet. (I'm wondering if they have an age restriction at Oceanquest? They had fun hanging out there in 2007.)
