We'll be at the GF Thanksgiving Weekend! Dang, we better make Thanksgiving Dinner reservations!

Only 101 days to go until I'm in Wonderland. :cool1: Forgive me guys this is my first trip to Disney. I am going a little bananas waiting. My DH has been there 2 or 3 times as a young child but I have never been. My DS9 is calmer than I am. I'm really a big kid. I LOVE MICKEY!!! Do any of you Disney Veterans remember your first trip? Is it really that MAGICAL? pixiedust:

DD17 and I are staying at SOG 18-25 November. We haven't seen the holiday decorations at WDW since 1999!!! That's mainly what this trip is for. We've been every year but usually in Sep or May. Having dinner at Crystal Palace on Thanksgiving Day..........just a nice relaxing trip.........and we are looking forward to it!

I've heard alot of good things about Liberty Tree Tavern, anyone have anything to add? What is the atmosphere like? I'm looking for something fun to do for Turkey Day Dinner. Any suggestions? Does anyone know if the Osbourne Lights cost anything.

I remember my first trip, it was actually to Disneyland in 1985, and I still remember it well to this day. In fact it's one of the best memories that I have.

I went back to WDW with my now husband for the first time (I went to the World in 1990 and 1994 but it was aweful off site/resell free ticekts, staying at my aunt's house stuff) in 2001 and it was absolutly wonderful, magical, it was like being a kid again.

I highly recommend Liberty Tree Tavern, I have never done the character dinner, pretty much because I am not a big character person, but the lunch is great. I don't know if you will be able to get in a get an ADR though, good luck!

Osbourne Lights as far as I am aware is free, or is part of admission to MGM.

Right now LTT is sold out for T-Day....but like I do with everything else....keep calling and someone will cancel.

That's basically how I got this whole trip. Someone had to have cancelled at OKW and I just happened to call at the right moment and boom there were two rooms..short one day of what I needed.

I've now managed to find a CRT ressie and other goodies because I'm a on a mission! I wonder if they keep track of how many times you call. I would hate to see my record.

I definitely have an infectious disease....just like belle.of.the.ball! Ironic that I'm married to an Infectious Disease doc and he can't cure me. Thank goodness he was not immune to the WDW/DVC disease. :rotfl:

Well, bell.of.the.ball ..... I will definately see you there ... since we are Disney Partners !!!! I can't wait  So anyone else at POR for Thanksgiving?? Lets meet and have a drink ....... :p
