Tune In Lounge

We thought we would take a break during our adult only trip to MGM and stop by the Tune In Lounge. Is it true that they serve food from Prime Time Cafe? What are you favorite drinks? Any pics, I'd love to see them! Do you need priority seating there?

I believe they only have a limited menu, but I'm not positive on that. DH and I recently stopped in for quick lunch on our arrival day. We got an order of Onion Rings (they came with a great dipping sauce) and Dad's Electric Lemonade.

We were so hungry we ate the Onion Rings before I thought to take a picture.

I agree with Dad's Electric Lemonade. Haven't had an appetizer here. It is a neat place and we plan to visit again in August for a drink.

By the way, if you're looking for a cocktail at MGM, the Sangria at Flatbread Grill is decent.

They serve food there , full menu, at least in June it was.

I have spent some time there on a few occasions. One trip we spent about 4 hours there enjoying each others company and meeting new people. We end up spending the rest of our week with another couple we met there.

Where is Flatbread Grill? Through the years I've not kept up with new places and have never been there.

We had smores and milk one afternoon at the bar! It was a great break from the afternoon heat and we were able to enjoy the smores since we weren't stuffed from a great meal.

This sounds perfect for us....this trip anyway. It's just DH and I and we don't get to sit at the bar and enjoy a drink and snack anymore with 3 kiddos. Just to sit and relax with a cocktail sounds nice!

Where is Flatbread Grill? What is the atmosphere like there?

Tune In Lounge is attached to Prime Time Cafe. We've stopped in a couple of times for drinks (I stick to beer in the parks-- liquor is way too dehydrating!). It's always super crowded with people waiting on their ADRs, though, so it can be hard to find a seat.

I've seen people eating meals in there. I don't know if they're ordering from the regular Prime Time menu or not.

Yes, we have gotten Dad's Electric Lemonade to go. We even brought these into Fantasmic with us to drink while we waited.

I'm bumping this thread up for others to have the info! We will be there in two weeks and I can't wait to try Dad's Electric Lemonade! We plan on sitting down if possible, if not we'll grab and go...and enjoy our drink while waiting in line at Fantasmic!

loooove dad's electric lemonade. my mom also had the maui wowie which she thought was great too. and i think picnic punch? it's a "special" drink that's not on the menu but is on a chalk board at tune in. it was really good too!

edit: summer splash! not picnic punch. summer splash....mmm...

We had dinner there 9/27 around 8:00pm or so when everything else at MGM was closed or booked (including 50's Prime Time). Dh had the pot roast, which was delicious and I had the strip steak, which was a great cut of meat. Unfortunately I ordered it medium rare and got medium well- maybe the bartender didn't hear me? It was still good, though, and the root veggie side dish was wonderful. I'm not sure what was in it, but it was a highlight.

All the drinks were great, too.
