Tuesday's Timeless Riddle!

Well, yeah, but if she was on 66 she was heading the wrong direction (west). Unless she was going to pick up 29 South at Gainesville, go through C'ville and pick up 64 there to Richmond and then South again on 95. Which would make no sense. Oh wait, we're talking about Angel here, aren't we? Then it makes perfect sense.
No wonder she needs directions to come back home. In case she's too obliviated to call me tonight, point her straight towards I95 North and tell her to follow it until she reaches 476.

Well Donna said she called from Gettyburg on 15 so she could have taken 15 down to 66 and then 66 to 95.

I think I would just tell her to go back the same way she came down, and if she hits any state lines other than VA, MD, and PA to stop and ask for help;)

Aww... she was in my state and didn't even stop to say hi :p

Anyway, I'm in and WOOOOO HOOOOOTY!!!

I told you, you should send her down her to Texas:lmao:

Okay, a few book comments:

Are You My Mother was my DH's favorite book as a child

and Dylan had 2 favorites....he still reads these from time to time:

and

Hmm..I'm not familiar with either of those but they look interesting. But if your DH's fave was Are You My Mother did that make yours something like You Aren't My Mother-In-Law!

his favorite book lately is

That is the one that I give as gifts now because I liked it so much. :teeth: We received the sequel with Abigail, and it was somewhat cute, but I'm just not an Elmo fan.

This was my favorite book...apparently it was the beginning of an obsession with streets:rolleyes:

Not going with the obvious comments there, but my girls have heard that one a lot too ;)

This was mine. I wonder why?

Okay, I didn't discover this one until college when my director asked me to learn it as a monologue. It was fun :)

If they ever open a Disney theme park in Australia, you'll have it made. :thumbsup2

oooh are we talking favorite childhood books? Here's mine...
Well I tried to post a picture. It didn't work.
It's The Penguin that Hated the Cold.
Wow! It was a bit late so I just wanted a short book last night and that's the one I read to the girls. Oooooh, that's just scary :teeth:

She just needs directions from me to find her way back home tomorrow. :lmao:
No misadventures? I'm happy and shocked at the same time. But there's always tomorrow.

Matthew & Dylan both really like that one too ::yes::

AA~Piggie Pie is very funny!! Dylan giggled every time we read it....I loaned it to my SIL to read to my nephew, under Dylan's strict orders that she return it, and he insisted she read it to him every night.....she had to go online & order their own copy.
Stellaluna: Baby bat Stellaluna's life is flitting along right on schedule--until an owl attacks her mother one night, knocking the bewildered batlet out of her mother's loving grasp. The tiny bat is lucky enough to land in a nest of baby birds, but her whole world has just turned upside down. Literally. Stellaluna's adoptive bird mom accepts her into her nest, but only on the condition that Stellaluna will act like a bird, not a bat. Soon Stellaluna has learned to behave like a good bird should--she quits hanging by her feet and starts eating bugs. But when she finally has an opportunity to show her bird siblings what life as a bat is like, all of them are confounded. "How can we be so different and feel so much alike?" one asks. "And how can we feel so different and be so much alike?" asks another. "I agree," Stellaluna responds. "But we're friends. And that's a fact." Anyone who has ever been asked to be someone they're not will understand the conflicts--and possibilities--Stellaluna faces. that's Amazon's description

It's strange how many of these books I recognize, and even stranger how many I DON'T.

As a former library aide, I have to say you all picked some really great books!:thumbsup2
