Let's see:
I was married at 19, no I was not preggers

I was part of the ground crew for the Coast Guard Academy Drum and Bugle Corp while I was in high school.

Most girls hated me in high school because I hung out with college guys every weekend, see above.

I lack self confidence, but I'm fakin' it til I'm makin' it.

I too am shy til you get to know me then look out, see those post numbers! LOL

I love one hit wonders of the 80's.

Oh and this morning, I'm the mean mommy. Yep, my job here is done.

ok, here's my dirty little secret. I'm backwards from you both-I was pregnant at 19 and no-I wasn't married. I got married at 20. Not the way I had envisioned my life but things have worked out-I grew up a Lot, learned not to be so judgemental of others, and we've beat the statistics (been together 8 years so far) and I ended up with my beautiful daughter. Who's a monster sometimes, but I wouldn't give her up for the world! and now my mom will probably be embarrassed I told you all this...

ok, here's my dirty little secret. I'm backwards from you both-I was pregnant at 19 and no-I wasn't married. I got married at 20. My mom would be furious at me for saying this but she was pregnant w/me when she got married. It's not something I even think about or care about but in the 50s that was quite a stigma and I know it was very hard for her. She never speaks about it.

ooohhh this is soooo good! i have been so sick for the past 2 weeks i have hardly been on so i've got to catch up.
ok lets see....

1. i too am the shy type, until you get to know me.

2. my hair is naturally curly(it's a curse) so i usually always have it up or in a pony

3.i won the french spelling bee in 7th grade, but don't speak of word of it today!!!

4.love my old time music~ tony bennett, etta james, dean martin....yup all those guys

5.was 18 when i got married and not preg in fact did not have my son until 18 years later!

6. i used to drive a dump truck for the city of pawtucket collecting trash.
( i know can you believe it~ i can't sometimes!!!!!!)
that's it. nothing real exciting!

It IS a curse!! That's why mine is usually straight. AND I managed to pass on my hair to DD. Poor thing.

Mom is not embarrassed! Mom is quite proud. Let me tell you all something else about pretty in tink. Long after all others had forgotten, she still didn't forgive herself. I guess for me this is a sign that she is moving on. Maybe she has forgiven herself now.

It IS a curse!! That's why mine is usually straight. AND I managed to pass on my hair to DD. Poor thing.

My oldest DD got it from me too. Not sure yet about the littlest one. There is still hope.

So do you use a straightening iron? If I want mine to look good straight, I have to blow dry it and use the straightening iron. How's the humidity there? It's bad here. If it rains, forget straight; I have a curly day. (When I do, I always get asked if I got a perm.)
