Tubes at Stormalong Bay**Update Pg 2 Found Bigger Tubes**

Went to Wal-Mart today and they did not have even one tube or floatie of any kind. Probably because it has been upper 90's to low 100's for the past 10 days in Northern Calif. Guess they sold them all out.

Is there any place else to buy them? I looked on line, but could only find the kid size. Looking for something adults will fit on.

Is there anywhere in DTD to buy them, or do they at least sell noodles somewhere on site? :flower:

Just as an FYI, if the pool gets overcrowded the lifeguards will tell people who ahve brought their own tubes that they can't use them. Saw it happen around this time last year. The pool was a zoo, and not enough room without the tubes, let alone with them.

For anyone interested , I found 36" transparent tubes at Kmart for $2.99. They had green and pink. I think these would fit adults better.

Hey guys. So I went back to Wal-mart for the yellow ones. Only they weren't as yellow as i thought. So those of you who have green or seen the green, how green is the green. Is it kinda a yellowish green or a bright DIS green?

We phoned the Gift Shop directly:

Their tubes are 36" round adult-sized tubes, $10 per day. For kid's they sell a Nemo tube or raft for $4.00. Noodles are for sale for $4.00. Float vests are available at no charge for children at the Pool.

We just returned from SAB and a 6 day stay at BC. We were never asked to show our IDs, only if we wanted towels. Sometimes when I was sitting in a chair or in the pool, I hardly saw anyone with a wristband on. After seeing all of the posts, I expected them to be really strict. I saw many people arriving at the pools (especially the quiet pool) in their street clothes, only to enter the bathrooms and return in their swimming attire. It was my first time at SAB and I was a little shocked at how deep the water was. It was no wonder there were not many kids in the tube section, with depths of 6 to 8 feet deep, many parents didn't let them in. In most of the other areas the depth went to 5 foot often. The kids section was very nice and sandy, but if you have little ones that are not good swimmers, you can not take your eyes off of them for a minute with such a huge variety of water depths. We did like the sand bottom. It was nice visiting SAB, but we all decided it was a little too wild and crazy for us. I did see many folks with non-transparent tubes too and no one made them take them out.

We just returned and they checked ID's ,even kids, when you got towels. I didn't notice anyone at the pool without the wrist bands but there may have been some. We used our own tubes without any problems. We did end up buying noodles and they worked better for us. Just easier to carry and no inflating or deflating. We loved SAB and can't wait to go back. It is a little more work since you have to change seats depending on where the kids wanted to swim. We even saw ducks swimming in the pool. Very cute!!!

BTW, Target has the 36" tubes (pink, yellow, green and blue) on clearance for $2.54.
