Tubes at Stormalong Bay**Update Pg 2 Found Bigger Tubes**

Since we will be at the BC in 11 days I wanted to make sure I had the correct info about bringing tubes. I called and spoke to a very helpful CM in recreation at the BC. She said bringing your own tubes is not a problem. They can be any color just transparent. It cost $3/hr and $10/day to rent so this can be a very big savings. They may even blow up your tubes at the outside shop. She also said noodles are also OK. I bought my tubes at Wal-Mart for $1.37 each. They had lime green and pink. Hope this helps others with their planning.

It is the pool that The Beach Club and The Yacht Club share. We have never been there but have been told that it is awesome. The pics look great.

SAB is AWESOME!!! It's a 3 acre sand-bottom pool area! You're gonna love it!

hmmmm. everyone seems to have lime green or pink. i got lime green (for the Dis!) but we also had the choice of yellow. Thinking maybe I should get yellow to stand apart a bit more.......

A question.... are the ones everyone is getting at Walmart "adult" sized? I was at a friends yesterday and their neighbors had a transparent pink tube in the pool. It was definately kid sized<G> So I just wanted to make sure we three adults would fit in them! LOL. Thanks

You have to be staying there. They do check when you enter the area. If I rememeber correctly they gave us wristbands to show we had access.

You have to be staying at the Yacht or Beach Club to enter the pool. But you can go check it out. It is an easy walk from the International Gateway at EPCOT and Cape May at BC is a great place to eat Breakfast (character) or Lunch. Get a PS though- last Saturday was a madhouse at Cape May. In busy times they even handout wristbands after you show your room card. My kids were never carded- maybe because it was always after 5 that they got in the pool.

The ones from Wal-Mart are 30". I have seen 36" tubes but not in the transparent. I'm sure a 36" would be a better fit for an adult but 30" should be OK. I'll take one out later and blow it up.

Lori, the 30 inch tubes look to be the smaller sized ones. I did go to Walmart and they had the 30 inch tubes... I thought they looked small for adults. I could very well be wrong. I instead bought the transparent air mattresses that come in the same colors. Anyone seen air mattresses there? If they are not ok I will hold on to the receipt and take them back. The air mattresses were 1.50 each and say on the back.. to be used by adults only.
