TTS Presents.. The Torchwood Series 2 Discussion Thread!

I thought this weeks episode was fantastic.
funny and action packed.
Shapeshifters rock!
I'm not deleting that one off the sky+ box!

I loved that one too! The shapeshifters were AWESOME. :) And it was nice to see the 'Real' side of torchwood again. Not 'Oh look, here's martha' that it has been lately.

I laughed at Jack's comment to Rhys's Mum.. And the Hero moment that wasn't. :lmao: Thing is.. I pity Ianto. First Jack kills his girlfriend, then while they have a relationship, thinks of someone else! Only in Torchwood. :rotfl: Mind you.. I guess it's because of the similarity of Gwen and the Lady in his picture. Whoever she is. We'll fine out soon. ;)

Can't wait till next weeks. :)

Question - is Rhys' mum a contender for scariest mum along with Martha's mum? :rotfl:

Leela

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

BBC announces 'Doctor Who' trailer debut
Tuesday, March 18 2008.

A trailer for the new series of Doctor Who will be shown for the first time on television on Saturday, March 22.

The BBC announced the premiere on the show's official website, although the launch date for the upcoming fourth season has yet to be confirmed. The trailer has previously been seen in UK cinemas, screening before films such as Cloverfield.

The 90-second trailer heavily features returning companion Donna Noble, played by Catherine Tate, along with glimpses of both Freema Agyeman and Billie Piper reprising their roles as Martha Jones and Rose Tyler respectively. In addition, there are shots of returning monsters The Ood and the warmongering Sontarans.

In December, a similar marketing strategy was adopted by the BBC when it promoted the Doctor Who Christmas special 'The Voyage Of The Damned' on the big screen, followed by an airing on television.

Really enjoyed last nights double bill of T/W on BBC2 and BBC3, the fairground /last breath one was excellent, then the secret Island one with Jack keeping secrets excl lent and very well written, Gwen getting it right then wrong again and Old Jack being the wise gy.

Plus Doctor Who April 5th confirmed.

Oh my this slipped real far down!

This week's (times two!) was alright. The circus one was freaky but good, and left you on a "Oh noes" kinda situation. :lmao: The other one was a bit more human. Humans are boring, noone cares. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: The next looks good. Is it the finale?

Oh btw; has anyone done the torchwood games? I played them and they are really really funny. They ended last week. The plot was all over the place and the games were kinda easy, but seeing the characters and all the extra stuff each week made up for it. :lmao: :lmao:

Holy heck this thread has slipped. :scared1:

Torchwood Finale tomorrow. :woohoo:

I found the final episode very disappointing. Hopefully I am alone in that but I just felt it lacked credibility and, well just anything. Here's hoping that the new series of Dr Who is better despite Catherine Tate being in it.

I liked it apart from loosing two strong characters, I kept hoping they could time travel a bit and put it all right, stop the Cardiff bombs and stop the deaths, maybe Cpt Jack could find a blue box?

Roll on Saturday and Doctor Who,

I thought the final episode was brilliant and am eagerly awaiting the next series. Sorry to see the two go but what a way they went.

Apart from losing two characters, lovely episode. And who knew john was GOOD. :scared1: :lmao: Good ending to a good series. :)

And now.... time to switch over to the Doc Side. ;) :lmao:
