TTS Presents.. The Torchwood Series 2 Discussion Thread!

Sorry, I forgot to come back and say hi. :lmao:

I personally thought that would of been better.. if I had had given it my full attention. :lmao: It was kinda cool and very very deeply profound.. Like "Your whole life is a Paradox; Enjoy" kinda thing. I think that also sets stuff up later, e.g. what happens to the Rift Key after Tommy uses it? Will Tosh and Owen strike a relationship, as hinted in Ep 1?, Etc. More too see. :)

Next one looks interesting. Bring on da meat. :lmao:

Oh, And Wow, Thanks Mikki for the Info. I had no idea! :thumbsup2

Now anyone for a Alien burger?

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Watched episode 3 last night and loved it, that is my type of episode, I loved the suspense and I thought it was just scary enough with all the "ghosts" wandering around. I didn't think the ending was brilliant, but I'm not sure how else they could have done it.

I kinda agree with the Ending really. It was kinda boring but oh well.. The episode itself was kinda good.

Alien burger order yours tonight at 9pm.

After next weeks 9pm show on BBC2, BBC3 will show the next episode, and that has a young Unit officer in it called Martha!!!!!

Liked that ones, well written thought provoking on the relationship and powerful on the love and forgetting,

Now what about the monsters family coming to find out what we did to it?

Anyway off to Mc'd's now for a Alien Deluxe.

And before anyone from there sues, its a joke they do not sell 'Deluxe' .......sorry Aliens!

Late posting again, too much good stuff on the tele at the moment! I really enjoyed this episode, I liked them dealing with the human side but not being too heavy handed. It will be interesting to see how that storyline develops.

I have steered clear of burger joints today though!

Leela

Sorry I'm late, been busy. :)

I liked "Meat". It was a cool ep. For one thing, it showed that Jack actually has HUMANITY for a change. :lmao: As apposed to "Kill it, next". And it's also nice that Rhys Finally knows about Torchwood, since she's been a bit bad with him lately. I wonder if she'll mention the affair. :rolleyes1

Next week's looks cool as well. From the Trailers, we get to see a bit of Jack's Past, and well, having an Amnesia episode is always fun! :lmao: :lmao: It's like a video game I played, torchwood style. :rotfl2:

Roll on Wednesday! :)

:lmao: I agree Leela. Well, at least the burgers in Torchwood were made of REAL meat. :rotfl:

Saw both last night,

BBC2, at 9.00pm , ''From what I remember' it was a really good show and well acted, it seemed a bit like the star trek TNG 'clues' episode, with little giveaways why memories had been changed and a bit of Spock's 'remember' thrown in.

BBC3, This was a really great episode, more like an adult Doctor Who than Torchwood, Martha's return they played up, and her interaction with Jack was really good, leaving the others rather bemused.

Men in white coats and Mayflower insect infestations.

They did a lot of scene setting about what has happened to Martha and who set up her job at Unit, ''Him upstairs''.

I will not go more into it as some might see it next week, but the death of one of the team needs to be resolved.

I'm late again. Go figure. :lmao:

Adam was a very very good episode. Very powerful stuff, and it was great to see Jack's Past. I think though, it won't be the end there... Maybe Adam will return; I don't know but I think we'll definitely see more of Jack's Past (or is that Future? :lmao: )

Oh and btw, I am thinking of writing the lines "I will not watch Reset on Iplayer" fifty times now. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Reset is good, more like Doctor Who, great CGI from the Mill, and good interaction Jack Martha, and a lot of DW, Back story.

I wasn't so sure about this week's episode. I found it quite disturbing and not as tense and exciting as usual. The part where the team got their memories back did make me cry though, so it can't have been all bad.

What about Rhys though? Won't he mention the past 48 hours to Gwen?

Really looking forward to the next one with Martha, that looks really good.

Leela

I was wondering the same thing about Rhys! They showed the next episode straight away on BBC 3 and it was good. Martha was excellent.

I really loved the memory episode. One of my favourites this season

susan

Leela I think that Rhys might do that.. Though you never know... She may just forget about it anyway. I mean, they never mentioned Adam's Name to Rhys so he may just forget about him...

Reset was very good, but Poor Owen! Still, at least they get to test the glove, which I noticed from their trailer. ;) It's going to be kinda cool, actually! :)

I've seen Dead Man Walking. :) It's very good!! Shame about Owen though. At least they can start a zombie collection now. :lmao: I loved the whole deepness of human life and all. :) Very very thought provoking.

And I see that Owen's coming back next week too. :)

I watched both on Wednesday night, was a little disappointed, a bit dark, Richard Briers seems to play a lot of dying or dead men, was in the Holby Christmas special as a dead Grandparent.

Doctor Who, not sure if its the 22nd or 29th that it starts, I'll do anything is Saturday 22nd March, and last year DW started on the same Saturday as 'Joseph', IDA, is the follow up, for Oliver, after Sound of Music and Joseph.

There is live Rugby on 22nd, which might squash the Evening schedule, next week on Saturday they show they are repeating the Doctor Who weakest link, which would imply, DW follows?

They are being coy, to announce it at short notice, to catch ITV out.
