TTC to Magic Kingdom

I'll be using public transportation to reach the TTC and would like to be at the Magic Kingdom turnstiles by 8:00 AM. Is this even possible with the current Monorail situation?

The current monorail situation is irrelevant, Disney continues to run ferry boats between the TTC and the MK.

In my experience the main ferry has not begun operations until well after 8:00 AM. Has this changed?

I'm operating on the understanding that transportation to AK/DHS/Epcot has moved from the TTC to the MK. Is this still the case? If so, it doesn't seem possible to reach those parks before 9:00 if arriving at the TTC via Lynx.

That is my back-up plan for the other parks. Does the Poly have an early bus to the MK now? My main concern with this is that if I were paying the big bucks to stay at the Poly I would be annoyed if, in addition to the Monorail situation, my bus stop was overrun with off siters.

Yes, but that wouldn't save any time. The Poly boats don't operate any earlier than the ferry. The ferry can also accommodate many, many times the number of people than the Poly boats can. If the monorail is not running from the TTC, then it won't be operating from the Poly.

The ferry may not be as fun as the monorail, but I've found it to be just as quick or quicker than the monorail between the TTC and MK, counting the wait time, loading/unloading, etc.

Got my answer on another forum-early buses will run between the TTC and MK during the restricted Monorail schedule. Early buses are also running directly from the TTC to the other parks as well at the moment.

I knew Disney was offering alternate transportation. I thought they were running the boats early. Sounds like Disney decided buses could handle the number of guests arriving that early.

During the monorail down time, there are early buses from the Poly to MK. If the OP arrives at the TTC by 7am or so, walking to the Poly to catch an MK bus is doable for arrival at the MK gates by 8am.

Where did you find info on buses from ttc to magic kingdom. Since other than resort buses their is no way to make the opening show. With the ferries and monarail opening so late? Fall 2014 schedule

That is correct info. Buses run from TTC to MK starting around 7 am, and run until the Express Monorail opens at 9:30. They may run later on busy days when long waits are likely to develop for the monorail.

Buses to AK & DHS pick up at TTC from one hour before the individual parks open until 9 am. That is not related to the reduced monorail schedule; it has been in effect since the primary pick up was moved to MK.
