First, Let me say that I have used Tiffany Town Car Service several times and would recommend them without hesitation.

That being said.....

I went to their website to book for a trip in two weeks and when I was looking at their rates it indicated that a minimum of 20% tip should be included. I always tip 20% thinking that this was a generous tip but now I am thinking 1.) Is 20% really the minimum and 2.) Why is TTC telling me what I should give as a tip since a tip is a reward for good service.

I have no problem having them give a guideline that a 15-20% tip is typical for good service but to word it that a minimum of 20% is expected is simply rude!

Has anyone seen this on their website and what are your thoughts?

20% is generally considered the minimum standard tip for towncar service, many people tip $10-$15 each direction. Some agencies are adding it to your rates. Tiffany is just making sure you understand this is a normal tip and you should budget that. They are also tell you to tip both directions since you may get a different driver for your return.

My problem is some people may think you should be tipping 20% of the R/T fee each direction. They could be a little clearer.
