And after yesterday, I am stoked to have a great day!!!!!

I hope I will join in on your soon to be BFPs even though I'm not IVF. I have my IUI scheduled for Thursday. I stimmed very quickly at the beginning and then sort of plateaued. Right now my follicles are 17, 15, 3 14s, and 2 13s. My lining (which was a problem on all my Clomid cycles) is good. Keep everything crossed for me as I enter my 2WW! Good luck to CC and Cher as you start stimming!

Good luck to you too! I hope the IUI is a success and the 2WW passes quickly!

Good luck with your IUI! I hope we all get BFPs (please, please, please!)! It sounds like you responded well to the injectibles with so many follies. :thumbsup2

Can I ask which stimulating meds you used and what your side effects have been? I'm on Follistim (150), Menopur (150) and Lupron (5). I started stimming yesterday and am feeling pretty good so far. Maybe a little bloated, can't tell for sure yet. I had bad headaches while I was on the higher doses of Lupron prior to the stimming, but those have lightened so far.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GABBIE!!!!! :bday:party::dogdance:

ok I gotta stop reading all these stat articles it's making me really depressed :sad2:

Researching can be a real downer. Remember that your doctor knows your particular case better than any random article or online study. That's what I try to remind myself of when I get the 'Google itch.'

pixiedust: baby dust!! Good luck with the IUI!! I am crossing everything but my legs...because well, I don't think I can keep them crossed through the IVF ;) :lmao:

actually they were from my RE's office - why does it have to be 80% against us every month???? that's so unfair!!!

At least with meds I am at the normal 20% chance per month vs 0% chance as it was before, at least I am not at the 5% chance yet for a few more years

I just got back from my second visit to the RE and got some very sad news. My AMH blood results came back and they are 1.73. I am only 27. I immediately started to freak out, and my doctor said it was nothing to worry about and that although it was on the low side for my age, he only worries about the women who have less than .5. I asked him if I should not even bother trying with a number that low, and he said absolutely not - but I still can't help worry about it.

Of course, I did a ton of googling and everything I have read indicates this is not a good number for someone my age. I am feeling depressed right now - it feels like a hopeless case to me. Has anyone else had this test done or know anyone who has?

On the bright side, he does think I have Endometriosis so I will go in for surgery in a few weeks.

I was on Gonal-F 150 and Menopur 75, though it seems like every time I went in they would change something around. One day no Menopur only Gonal-F, one day only Menopur, a few days of half doses of one or the other. Really the only side effect that I had is feeling bloated. When I was on Clomid I was constantly nauseous so I was actually surprised with less side effects on the injectables!

Had a great b-day girls!!!!!! :cool1:

I went to the spa and got a 90 minute massage, facial, and my hair cut.

We went to see dad-in-law and he gave me birthday cards.....one with a $50 target gift card....one from my g-ma in law.....had a $100 in it!

We tehn went to Cheesecake Factory! (MY fave place) Kenny got a burger. I had pizza, salad, and cheesecake. :cloud9:

We went to the mall where I got a free gift at Sephora, Hello Kitty lipstick, a Smashbox make-up kit (I loooove Smashbox!), and......

my very first Coach mini-skinny wallet!!!!!! :woohoo: :dance3:

Awesome day!

Now I gotta call the insurance company and the fertility clinic and get the ball rolling!

I agree that the numbers can be demotivating! Ugh, hopefully we are all on the right side of those statistics!

I'm not familiar with AMH issues, so I'm sorry I can't help you there. Good to hear that your doctor still wants you to proceed even with a lower than average number. It's so hard not to get down during this process. I have good and bad days too.

I was diagnosed with endo in 2002 and had surgery for it. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks! I was very weepy during my first clomid cycle. I'm surprised that I'm not feeling terrible with the stimming so far, but it's only day 3, so it could come. I have a monitoring appointment on Sunday and my RE said depending on what they see, they may want to shift my meds around too.

Glad you had a great birthday! Just a warning....Coach can be very addicting! I am definitely a Coach junkie!

Hello Ladies!

I had my CD21 progesterone bloodwork done today. Here's to hoping the 100 mg of Clomid did the trick and helped me ovulate.

I have a question for y'all. Today the nurse asked if/when I detected a surge with OPKs. I did detect one on CD14. She said that if I don't start my AF by CD28, to take a pregnancy test.

But I'm wondering if that's too early for me to test. My 3 past cycles have been 38 days long each, though we don't know if I ovulated during any of those. So would Clomid affect my cycle length? I don't want to test on CD28 if CD38 is more realistic for me, but I'm wondering if Clomid might change the cycle length.

Yes clomid can affect your cycle length. I have gone from 60 days before taking clomid to 35 days first few cycles on clomid now to 28-30 days. I have a blood draw exactly 2 weeks after ovulation to test for pregnancy so I haven't had to test myself. The poas method doesn't always detect the hcg right away but just buy some cheapos and test away I buy them online for about $1.50 each so if I use a bunch it's not costing a lot.

Thanks for the info! I was all over the place before taking Clomid. AF went missing for like 4 months, then she came back just as mysteriously as she left. Since December I've fortunately at least had an AF each month, so that's a good thing. My cycle used to run long (I mean before it up and left the building for a few months), so maybe Clomid will shorten it. A year ago back when my ovulation predictor machine actually worked (before my PCOS came along and screwed it up), I used to ovulate much later than CD14, so maybe I will have a shorter cycle now since I ovulated so much earlier.

Right now I think I have 1 of the fancy digital tests left, and 1 or 2 of the kind with the plus sign. I'm definitely saving the digital one for if I really have a strong feeling I'm pregnant, since it cost a fortune. I think I paid around $15 for 3 of the kind with the plus sign, so if I need to test a bunch, I'll need to look for a cheaper option.

My fertility dx called.....they gave me a code to give to the insurance to cover my HSG!

Kenny and I have our Patient Education Class the 19th at 10:30 a.m. It's $60.

I feel good about it....the RE gave us a VERY high chance of success!!!!!! She said it may even happen by the time we go to Disney this fall!!!!!! :dance3:

Dollar Store! I used to go through heaps of those back in my "actively trying" days. For only $1, you can't feel too bad about wasting one testing too early or whatever.

Ooooh, good suggestion! I hadn't even thought of the dollar store. Thanks!
