TTC question

Nope, Disney resort busses are at all parks themselves unless another transportation is available (boat, monorail). TTC is a giant parking lot for both kingdom cars and off property charter, hotel, and public transit buses.

The only time I have seen them at TTC is when the monorail was down a couple weeks ago.
We were at CR and they had buses to take guests to TTC (I guess for those that didn't want to walk to MK)
We were gong to Epcot and they told us to go to TTC and change to the Epcot monorail but that wasn't necessary as there was an Epcot bus.
That bus did also stop at TTC.
I'd guess they offer that anytime the monorail is down but that's just a guess

Yes, anytime the monorail is out of service for any reason alternate transportation is brought up to cover the monorail route. Once the trains are back in service, the busses go out of service.

you can not walk from TTC to MK unless you can walk on water

I didn't say walk from TTC to MK.
I said for those that didn't want to walk from CR to MK.
CR was offering a bus to TTC for folks to use to get to MK when the monorail was down. That would be for folks who don't want to walk to MK

That bus will likely continue on to MK after stopping at the other resorts, and sometimes the bus between MK & WL will stop at CR when the Resort Monorail is down.

Do resort buses go to TTC?

I think to really answer your question/concern .............. where are you coming from and where are you trying to go? Without that there are all kinds of scenarios that would bring all kinds of answers ... not necessarily helpful to you.

RE: buses from MK to TTC - they happen more than you think. Last several trips we have hopped on the bus towards the end of the day to avoid the monorail and ferry. It is much faster as it went direct. I have also taken the bus in the morning to MK when the park monorail was not running and they would not let anyone on the resort monorail from the TTC. It went direct to MK as well. Every time I have taken the MK/TTC buses the monorail(s) were in service.

Buses are used to supplement Express Monorail service when needed. On days when high attendance is anticipated, buses (either Disney, chartered, or a mix) will be staged in the Mouse House (the former TTC-to-MK Tram loop), and activated at the discretion of management.

Honestly there is no consistent policy as everyone seems to have different experiences at all different times. The only thing consistent is sometimes they are there, sometimes they are not and sometimes CMs know what is going on and sometimes they don't. It's the Magical Mystery Tour.

That's one way to describe it. :)

Thanks for all of the information everyone! What I am trying to do (in the most efficient way possible) is to go from Poly (after Wishes) to POR. Any suggestions?

You would need to go back to MK and catch the bus at the Bus Depot. Easiest be the monorail. And yes, you will encounter the large crowds coming out after Wishes.

The long route would be the Polynesian bus to Disney Springs then walk over (not far) to catch the boat to POR. Might be less crowded.

There have been complaints here about long lines for the boats out of DS in the late evening

It would probably be faster to just take the bus from DS to POR. It should be much less painful once the new DS bus depot has opened (probably around the end of this month.)
