TTC Question...

I just want to clear this up, can you get to anywhere from the TTC? Resorts, theme parks, water parks, etc.? We are trying to plan our transportation routes, and the toughest is, of course, Resort to Resort hopping. Will transfering at the TTC do the trick?

That will work but many times it is easier to go to a park and hop a bus to the resort you are going to. I never use the transportation but it makes sense to me that if you can get to a park quicker than the TTC. I may be wrong. If you go to say the monorail resorts it is easy to get to the TTC but that is not the way it is going from the CBR. When you check in they give you a large pamphlet to describe the transportation. I am sure if you ask at GS they will be able to help you too, but you know how you get 20 different answerss sometimes.

You would naturally expect that the Transportation and Ticket Center would be a hub where you could get from anywhere to anywhere. Not true! In fact the TTC is a hub mostly for getting from theme park to theme park. It is the only place where the monorail and theme park buses come together, so you can, for example, get from MK to AK by switching modes at the TTC.

But you cannot get to most resorts from the TTC. You can get to the monorail resorts, of course, and to Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness and the Contemporary. Otherwise, you cannot get there from the TTC. For example, if you want to get from the Grand Floridian to AKL you cannot get there via the TTC. You would have to transfer at a theme park instead. There is NO transportation from the TTC to All Stars, CBR, CS, AKL, OKW, PO, or DI.

As for the water parks, to get to Typhoon Lagoon take any Downtown Disney bus. For Blizzard Beach take any AK bus. For River Country take the Boone bus from the TTC.
