TTC parking lot open only 1 hr before MK opening??

I seem to recall that the parking lots opened 90 minutes before the park openings. (Wish I could remember where I read that!) I made an ADR for 8:05 am at Crystal Palace but the CM told me I could not make it because we are staying off property and the parking lot would not open until 8:00 (park opens at 9 that day). This just doesn't sound right. Could she have been wrong or her computer was just programmed to tell me that? Does anyone have experience with early ADRs and driving to the park?

Funny...I have ressies at CP also, and CM never mentioned this fact to me. I'm curious now, I will do some research.

OK I FOUND IT....
According to the 2006 Unoffical Guide to WDW the Magic Kingdom TTC parking Lot opens about 2 hours before the park's offical opening. (Page 437)

So I think you'll have PLENTY of time, since the park generally opens at 9am, so that means you can get into the parking lot as early as 7am.

Just have your ADR # with you. From what I remember we had to take the resort monorail from TTC. Not a big deal, just not directly to MK. No one asked us for the #, but I read here to have it just in case when you go to get on the monorail

I've been thinking about it and I decided I didn't want to rush the family out the door quite so early that morning. It's our second-to-last so I'm sure it will even be a challenge to get there for the rope drop. I changed the ADR to 10:20 so we can enjoy that first hour, then slow down for a long brunch. We will have been to MNSSHP a few nights before and I'm hoping to make the big rides a focus for the first couple hours that night so no need to rush around all morning.
