Where can you go from the TTC? Only to the parks, not resorts?

I thought TTC was a hub like DTD and you could catch a bus from there to anywhere - park or resort. But I read conflicting info somewhere else.

From DTD - can you catch a bus to anywhere, any park or resort?

Thanks!

The TTC is really only used by guests coming from outside WDW. They park there and take the monorail or boat over to the MK. Disney resort guests have no reason to go to the TTC.

From DTD you can only get buses to the Disney resorts. They stopped service to the theme parks years ago because people from outisde would park there for free and take the Disney buses to the theme parks.

Actually, even if you are a Disney Resort guest if you want to go to Animal Kingdom or the Studios from Magic Kingdom, you need to go to the TTC. Those are the only Disney buses going from that location.

They worked it that way because Lynx drops off at TTC, and offsite hotel shuttles drop off at TTC. So anyone can get to any theme park from the TTC.

(Also the Magic Kingdom resort bus stop has reached capacity. They no longer have room to have buses to Animal Kingdom or Studios from there.)

What we do to get to either the Studios or the Animal Kingdom from the MK is to walk over to the Contemporary and take the bus from there.

They have a nice covered bus area outside the main entrance. I never thought of taking the monorail over to the TTC.

The only problem with taking a Studios bus from the Contemporary is that it also stops at the Poly and Grand Floridian. (The AK bus may do that also, but I have never hopped from MK to AK).

I have found the most pleasant way to hop from park to park is put a meal at a resort in between.

For example, we'll start the day at AK, then take a bus to AKL and have an early dinner at Jiko or Boma, then take a bus to Magic Kingdom.

Or we'll start the day at Epcot, then walk through the IG and have a meal at Beach Club or Yacht Club, then continue on to the Studios.

Yes the bus from the Contemporary to the Animal Kingdom also stops at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. That's why it's best to get those buses at the TTC when coming from the Magic Kingdom since it's a direct ride to those parks when leaving from there.

We stay at the Poly and use the TTC almost exclusively becasue it is so convenient and we can get wherever we need to go.

For the record...Only the HS bus stops at CO/POLY/GF. The AK bus from CO only stops at the POLY

Ah, you do things the same way I do...it's so nice and relaxing that way. It's really nice to get out of the park and sit down for a relaxing lunch, at a resort, where it is more than likely a lot less congested than the park.

Unless things have changed usually in the afternoon when leaving the Animal Kingdom the Contemporary and Polynesian bus also shared with the Grand Floridian, since it's name was also on the electronic sign that lists the Resorts.
