TTA and the Land closed at the same time? What was some exec thinking!!

I have hopes TTA will be open this trip for me..21 more days.
Now, if only the land could be open then too!!

Yes, they were both closed when we were there in August...major bummer... especially because we were there a day before the original TTA reopening was going to happen and were hoping for an early soft opening.

Whichever exec made that decision wasn't thinking of people like us whose favorite rides aren't the thrill rides.

Fingers crossed for all of you heading there!

The TTA has been testing the last couple of days with the cars actually moving around the track. Its not boarded up anymore and there are CM's standing outside of it incase it opens ahead of schedule.

I just read on another site that it had opened today...wdwmagic.com I think. It said that nothing has really changed except for the lighting...and that the viewing into SM is boarded up.

TTA is now open. There have been no changes besides the new lighting system installed and a fresh coat of paint. As you go through Space Mountain it is walled off so you can't see whats going on.

Yay! I'm glad it's walled off. I'd rather wait and see SM when it's finished.

YES! So relieved to hear it's open again. I'll be there Thursday, and the first place I'm going when I get to MK is TTA. I'm jonesing for it after it not being open in July...haven't ridden it since, wow...January!

I heart the TTA!

I am so happy it opened today. It was great news to hear. I'l be in WDW on Sunday and the TTA will be the first thing I go to! YAY!!

We went over there to ride today as well! Got a few pictures of Space Mountain as well as pictures of the destruction of the skyway building. It felt like coming home again, this is my husband and my favorite relax and spend time together ride on all of property
