Tsum tsum card 6 help

I am stuck on card 6 squares 12 and 9.
For 12 (use skill of a feline tsum 12 times in one play) I have gotten to 11 once or twice. I usually try with Cheshire Cat and use 4 to 5, extra time and extra bubble bonus items. I also usually use extra score for good measure.

For mission 9 - 250 combo; I just don't ever see that happening.

Anyone who has cleared these want to share tips?

Hi! For 12 I think I used marie. I remember being stuck on something I couldn't clear until after I got her. For 9 Donald is the best!
