TSMM withou FPP this Thursday

Hi all! I love how Disney is throwing curve balls in my plans on a weekly basis! So Thursday all FPP are all gone until 11:20am. I am guessing because of the change as they are available most of the rest of the day.

I was planning to sign my son up for Jedi Training first thing and then do standby for TSMM after that, but with all the early FPP, I am worried that standby will be really long. We have a FPP at 1:30, which I was planning for a second ride. Should I scrap standby in the morning and do other things while lines are short?

You can always go over and see how bad standby actually is. I know it's a long trek back over there, but I would take the gamble.

I've noticed the early morning FastPasses have usually been harder to get on the most popular rides (at least back to October). I honestly don't think the added 4th Fastpass resulted in that many people changing their fastpasses to first thing in the morning. Just my own observation.

I agree or book and go back in to change the time sometimes that has to be done to get a better time.

DHS typically starts letting people in before 9:00. If you can get there early enough to be right at the front of the line, get to JTA signups quickly, you might be able to get into the TSM queue and at least past the FP merge point before 9:00, when any FP+ users will start slowing down the queue.
