TSMM FP+ queue to close in October?

A WDW Facebook group I belong to mentioned that the Toy Story Midway Mania FP+ queue will close for a brief period of time in late October due to the construction of the third track. As such, several people on there have reported not being able to obtain FP+ for that timeframe.

ETA: the group is citing multiple WDW blogs that have mentioned this. Not sure which.

That was the first time I'd heard this. Can anyone confirm if this is factual? Can anyone speculate how badly this will affect the standby lines, particularly at rope drop?

Sounds unlikely, just because of how they could just re-route guests.

But, at WDW, you just never know.

Were these posts recent? I only ask because back in Aug FP were not showing up for TSMM from like Oct 12 or 15th on (can't remember the specific date) lots of people were speculating at the time the same thing. However after about a week or so they suddenly showed up. We were able to book one for Oct 21st. After seeing your post I checked again and fast passes are still avail for that date so if it is closing it must be after Oct 21st.

The posts were from today, and they just said "late October" so it could possibly after 10/21. Perhaps it will happen but Disney isn't quite sure when, which is why TSMM availability has been funky. Who knows!

We have a FP booked for TSMM on Oct. 29.

I remember seeing those posts also but we were able to get FP for Oct. 26th.
