We are arriving at WDW probably around 7:30 or 8 pm on Monday (Columbus Day). Because this is VERY short trip, we're trying to maximize our time at the parks, so we're planning to head over to HS, which is having EMH until 11 pm. Is it likely that we'll be able to get on TSM without having to wait all evening, making that the only thing we'll be able to do that night?

It is hard to "guesstimate" the wait for TSMM during EEMH,but,in all liklihood,it will be substantial.:)

My advice, since you want to maximize your WDW time,is to do other things during EEMH and not get in line for TSMM until 10:59.:)

You will still be allowed to ride and the time spent in line will be "bonus time".:)

there shouldnt be much of a wait, the parks are empty and such.. now the key here is do NOT believe the wait time posted towards the end of the night it will say 45 or more no matter what.. actually take a look at the line.

That's an interesting strategy! I wonder if we'll be awake enough to try that :scratchin . I guess we won't know until we get there. We've decided that there's not much we really want to do at HS, so this is the only time we're allotting to this park (we've been there several times before).

We did EMH in August. We saved TSM until the end of the night. We waited 15-20 mins at 1230am. We could have gotten back in line at 1255am but we were so tired and just wanted to go back to the resort. We also did EMH at the MK, where the wait were also short. We love EMH.
