Saw this story in several places. Unfortunately its not all of those scanner machines, only a particular brand. Also saw that if the manufacturer gets their act together and comes up with the new software the machines will be but back in service.

To the best of my knowledge, it's going to be all the machines that showed actual body parts (so to speak). If, and when, they come up with software that allows for just 'shadow' views, then those machines can come back into use.
