Is the TS place in Morocco "child friendly"? DH and I would love to eat there, but I´m wondering whether it´s a too grown up atmosphere for the kids? They´ll be 14, 12, 6, 3 and 6 months.

It's totally fine for kids! My 2 and 4 year old loved it last year, especially the live music and belly dancer.

Book it. It's a lot of fun. The kids can even go dance with the belly dancer. It's a lot of fun.

Sounds great! Thanks for your replies :)

You'll be fine. We always see a ton of kids in there and they all love the belly dancer. Ask for a table close to the dance floor.

We just had dinner there last Thursday night and had a great time. A couple of people brought their young daughters up to the dance floor (but stayed off to the side) while the belly dancer was dancing, then at one point she walked over and brought those girls up onto the floor with her for a "lesson". The girls were fairly young and just sort of stood there in amazement, but their parents were thrilled and were snapping pictures left and right. LOL

We like the food there and always see children there, so I recommend that you give it a try. :)

Marrakesh is definately kid friendly. This is my DS 11's favorite restaurant. The bellydancer and band are very entertaining and we were very impressed with our waiter's interaction with our kids. He taught my son how to write his name in Arabic. We were on the DDP so the waiter had him sign the check (made him feel oh so important :)) The food was really good as well.

Definitely bring them - we are taking DD who will be 15 months - every time we have gone there have been kids of all ages up and dancing with the belly dancers and having fun.

We love Restaurant Marakkesh and so does DS5. The food is kid friendly. Try it you may discover you like Moroacan food. The couscous is amazing.

Oh, I know I LOVE Maroccan food. Was just wondering whether it was a fancy place with few kids or a family friendly place. I´m sure we´ll take the kids :)
