TS booking for a party of 8

I've just been playing around with booking TS places for dinner for 8 people. I found that there are not many places available even as far out as 3rd June (180 days).

Would it be possible to book 2 tables of 4, as these seem more readily available, for the same time and then when we check in at the podium ask the restaurant staff to put the 2 tables together ?

Tricky one! I managed to get tables for 11 a few years back without any trouble so I wonder why your choice is so limited?

The busier restaurants may not be able to accommodate 2x4 due to the layout so I personally wouldn't risk it if you all want to sit together - but I'm sure some places would be fine. RFC/T Rex definitely no problem, but it depends where you are looking to eat and whether it's peak season/free dining

We're going 3rd till 18th October and yes we have free dining. I also noticed when I put in for a table of 4 it only gave 2 or 3 time options ....... is that really the only time available ?? Would I be better telephoning to make my ADRs ??

This is the list of places we would like to eat at and they are all evening meals

It only ever gives 2 or 3 time choices now so I wouldn't pay attention to that.

You should be able to book 8 online I would have thought and if you can you can call.

I would ring them and do it all in one go. Talking to a person is easier than angrily prodding an ipad when you don't get what you want!
