So under the DDP what are the beverages at TS meals? I know there is pop and ice tea, anything else?
Also does anyone know what brand of ice tea they use? I would love to know to get the nutritional value on it.
Thanks
yup what she said..They are using new tea machines at the resort food courts so I am assuming that they have the same at the restaurants too..some are non-sweetened and some are......they were good (different) for this northerner that has never had sweet tea....

LOL....funny up here in Canada all we have is the sweetened tea so our first trip to disney I ordered iced tea and it was terrible, only b/c we had never had that kind of tea before. But DH and I are on a huge healthy kick so teh sweet iced tea is now out for us so maybe now we will enjoy the disney unsweeteneed tea. I assume there is very little calories in it!

To break it down to it's most basic, any beverage except for alcoholic beverages are good for the dining plan. As others have mentioned, the choices can change depending on where you eat, Whispering Canyon offers bottomless milkshakes as a DDP beverage. As far as soda, though, it's all Coke products.
If you order unsweetened iced tea, obviously you know the calorie count is zero , and most tea has the same basic nutritional information as most other tea. And of course, sugar has 16 calories per teaspoon - but without research (yes, the research the OP is willing to do), there's no way to tell how much sugar is in each serving.
Just an aside - some posters above are talking about sweet tea and sweetened tea. "Sweet tea" is popular in the South, and is brewed a particular way with a comparatively large amount of sugar. Sweetened tea is 'just' tea with sweetener added.
Gotta tell ya - my dad had a thing for sweet tea, and for us kids to be able to have ANY was a real treat... and the furthest south he ever went was St. Louis.
