Thought I'd write up my thoughts on the restaurants we tried. As a note though, I don't eat meat or chicken so can't comment on any of those items.

PS - If I can figure out how to add pictures, then I can show some

Ohana Dinner So I didn't try many of the items since many were meat, but everything I tried was quite good. I did like the lettuce wraps, although a touch spicy for me. The shrimp was delicious and the veggies and noodles were nice and sweet. For dessert, I'm more of a chocolate person, but I still enjoyed the bread pudding. Atmosphere was cute. This was probably our longest ADR wait as the main area was really busy when we arrived (and this was a Sunday night), but we arrived about 10 minutes early and were waiting maybe only 15 minutes past our ADR time. DH is the meat eater and he LOVED his meal (but said the shrimp was the best). I liked as well how they brought out something for our kids to their liking.

BOG Dinner I ordered the shrimp and scallops, but really only had one bite as I was quite sick this day. I would say it was 'ok', but then again, my tastes may have been skewed since I was nauseous. DH also said his meal was just ok (some meat dish), but our kids seemed to enjoy. I did love the atmosphere though...really beautiful in the ballroom with it 'snowing outside' and very neat for DD to have her picture taken with The Beast.

ABC Commissary Lunch I was weary about Hollywood Studios meals as I hadn't heard great things, but I will say that I quite enjoyed Quinoa and Arugula salad. It's hard to find something healthy at these places plus yummy so was quite impressed. DD got one of those kids boxes so it had things she could pick at.

Hollywood & Vine Dinner I was also a bit worried of eating here because of the bad reviews. Maybe it was because we went early at 5:15pm, but we found it quite clean (unlike what we had read) and it wasn't loud. I won't say it was the best buffet we went to, but it had a decent selection and I really have no complaints (except maybe all 3 bread rolls weren't good). The best was the Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Pumpkin Ravioli (ironically I'm not a huge pasta lover). And desserts had a good selection. And we got good seats at Fantasmic...right in the center area so perfect.

Boma Breakfast Best buffet with tons of selection. I stayed with the more traditional items (plus had to try the decadent French toast), but quite yummy. DH absolutely loved this place.

Sunshine Seasons Dinner Best QS meal. Had the beet and goat cheese salad. Super healthy and super yummy. Then went the opposite on the health factor with dessert and had the whoopee pie. Delicious! I also liked the fact that they had drinks such as soy milk, which is hard to find.

Columbia Harbor House Lunch Got there just before the crowds so great timing. Got the tuna salad sandwich which was made perfect...not too much mayo but moist enough. The side chips were good. And I stuck with the yogurt (real greek yogurt) since I didn't want junk for dessert. DD had chicken fingers and yogurt, but she wasn't that hungry this day.

CRT Dinner Ok...this place is for the experience more than the food. DD was in awe meeting Cinderella...and then each princess at the table. Although my DD is quite shy, each princess was great in talking with her. One even tried to get DS in the conversation (but he wasn't happy to be there as too girly). The castle itself was beautiful...loved the detail. As for the food...mine was quite good...salad with pear, salmon with a nice sauce, and the cool midnight clock for dessert (got a picture of that one). DD didn't eat as she wasn't hungry as mentioned earlier (was worried she was coming down with something but think her tummy was just full from all previous food). DS liked his chicken fingers and DH said his meal was good.

Akershus Breakfast Another perfect experience for DD. Mostly the same princesses but she didn't seem to mind (nor comment that some looked different than at CRT...since different people underneath). Atmosphere isn't as impressive as CRT, but breakfast was ok. I'm not a meat eater so only had eggs and potato thing from hot plate (ok, not amazing) and cold buffet had a standard assortment of items.

Pinocchio Haus Dinner This one surprised me as I honestly wasn't expecting much. We wanted to grab something quick before MNSSHP and it was great it wasn't busy. But what surprised me was the caprese flat bread was amazing (and gave me my own idea for simple dinner sometime). Kids got pizza, which is their favorite, but I think first time getting it at Disney.

Chef Mickeys Again, I was a bit apprehensive as I'd heard not all positive things, but we really enjoyed the buffet. Great breakfast selection (best blintzes , pastries and veggie quiche). And of course, our kids loved meeting Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto. Even DS was into it (as he's been so anti-characters up to this point). So was a pleasure to see that. I suppose the place was loud, but wouldn't expect otherwise with the size of the restaurant, but it was clean, and neat seeing the monorail go through it every few minutes.

Snacks Well, I had to have a Mickey Bar at MK (yummy as it's creamy), Mickey Fudge bar thing at AoA was good, chocolate salted caramel things from Epcot super yummy (I love that combo). DH and DS had similar one but with bacon (gross to me but they enjoyed). DH and DS also had the Dole whip and said it was amazing (I wasn't with them so didn't get to try it). And to my surprise, the Anna and Elsa Rice Crispy was really yummy...super sweet icing on top which I love.

So overall, quite positive review all around.

Thanks for the reviews. Sorry you weren't feeling well enough to enjoy BOG to its fullest. Glad to hear you enjoyed Chef Mickey's, especially. We had a similarly positive experience last year (after writing the restaurant off) and we will be returning next month.
