Hi all, my gaggle of 6 will have two rooms at ASMo with one room on the DxDP and the other room with no DP.

Our 3 year old is on the reservation without the dining plan. For a la carte restaurants, must we order something for her?

We plan to have her share our appetizers and meals for the most part and not use credits for her unless we have to (eg buffets).

Also, family service is treated like buffet correct? We’ll need to use a credit for her?

Yes, she’ll need a credit for buffet/family style meals, but you can share otherwise.
FYI- there has been some chatter that after Jan 1, you won’t be able to share credits across room reservations. Some DISers had issues at the end of December and were told by restaurant managers that it wouldn’t be allowed after Jan 1. I’m watching this closely because we were planning on sharing for our early Jan trip.... and scrambling to figure out what i’ll do if we can’t share. Just wanted to let you know!
