Trying to strategize w/ new ticket options - help please!

It's my understanding that it can't use two days because of the way the ATS ticketing system works. The computer looks at your admission in terms of "number of days", and whether or not your ticket has park hopping. Meaning - you've got 5 days of admission on a 5 day non-hopping ticket - NOT 5 admissions through a turnstile. Does that make sense?

.

Now, that makes sense! I knew someone would come up with a good explanation!!
Thanks.

How is the early entry changing?

Don't think of it as Early Entry anymore. Now it needs to be thought of in terms of Extra Magic HourS.

Instead of allowing resort guests into a designated park one hour early, they will also leave the parks open up to 3 hours later for resort guests.

So some mornings they'll have "early entrance", but on other days, the parks will stay open later.

Hope that makes sense! :)

Thanks, so its feasible, EMH's could include EE,per se and/or extra evening hours,or just extra evening hours? When will schedules be released/ we go in FEb.

Say on Monday, you go to Magic Kingdom in the morning. Then later on Monday, try to go to Epcot. When you put your ticket in, the computer can only say to itself "This ticket has been used today, but not here at Epcot. This ticket does not allow park-hopping." It then won't release the turnstile.

Very good explanation, Dan. And right on the money, too. :D

Now will we be able to use a plus day at the water park for example, and then go to EPCOT in the evening???

I would imagine that plus options will work the same way they do now.

So yes, you'd be able to go to a water park in the morning, and Epcot in the evening. :)

I would imagine the schedule should be out soon since the new program is starting in January.
