See, that would be a selling feature for me!![]()
Not me. I sweat to death when it's 70 degrees. So I am crossing my fingers for cooler weather during our visit.

They're also drawing the big marshmallow monster guy, but still Frozen.
The refurb schedule isn't released for our April dates, but the odds are most of the same rides will be closed during those days. So it wouldn't make sense to change to April when the crowds and temps are higher. Not to mention, Southwest's flight options on our backup dates are pretty awful. So we'll only be changing to those dates if one of us gets sick right before our vacation.
Why suffer the heat of LA with all those refurbs still happening?
Yep, I also spoke to someone on the phone who confirmed it. Her name was Karen and she was really quite nice. (Though I think she may have given me some misinformation about a Winnie the Pooh meet and greet.)
Well, BOOOOOOOO!!!!
except its THE castle. I mean its not an E ticket but it is still a big deal.
Thanks for posting this list. It's a good thing I read it before I bought my tickets. I am going to cancel our 3 nights at Grand Californian. It's just too much money for our family to spend and have so many of the headliners closed. We are coming a long way and will spend our time exploring somewhere else in California. I'm totally bummed.
How about staying at a nice hotel off site? And money saved can go towards another trip, when the castle isn't tarped up, along with the other refurbishments being over. Thanks for posting this list. In case anyone cares, It's a Small World may be under a tarp for a while too...however, the ride is still set to reopen on February 5th. It will just look ugly on the outside.
Where did you read that? Did it say how long?
May and June are not hot in SoCal. We can usually expect some lovely June Gloom to keep the temps down most of the day. It doesn't get super hot until the end of the summer and then it sticks around until October.
February and March are my favorite times to visit and I know to expect refurbs, but I really feel for those of you that are disappointed in the list of refurbs. I think it is an very long list and it's not like you're going to spend less money because of it. There's no reason that customers shouldn't complain when they don't get the experience that they paid for.
Just from a Disneyland blogger so I don't know if it's true or not. It's mostly under a tarp right now.
Are they still removing holiday overlays? I thought iasw was up longer than other rides.
IASW is due to go down on January 26th.
