I am trying select a resort and with the promotion going on, this is what I was able to come up with on disneyworld.com

2 adults 1 child May 3-9 2009

WL 2665.06

AKL 2360.16

Boardwalk Inn 2765.28

FW Cabins 2472.84

YC 2765.28

Pop 1597.56

These prices include PH and dinning plan. I was trying to get AS Family Suites, but the website is not giving me the option, so I guess it's not available. I may end up getting two rooms at a value just to have the extra room but I run the risk of not getting a connecting room.

I am leaning toward AKL and the FW Cabins.

Any pros and cons with the above resorts?

Poly, GF , CR were way out of my price range even with the promo.

This doesn't include airfare. I think we will be driving from Texas with a 2 year old. :scared1: :scared1:

I think these are good prices. I entered your dates for the AKL without the buy 4 get 3 deal and the price came out to 3025.50. I would assume that the other resorts are also good deals.

Using the 4/3 deal, the prices are going to be fairly good.

AKL and FW Cabins are my two favorite resorts. Both are so fantastic and beat the heck out of any value resort accommodations, even a family suite imo.

I will admit that I wouldn’t do AKL if it isn’t a savannah room. Another thing to be aware of with a little one is no balloons at AKL.

The Cabins, if you are driving, are exceptionally great. You will have a full kitchen, a family room, and a separate bedroom. Your parking spot is right in front of your cabin. It means packing up and unpacking is exceptionally easy for long distance drivers (we drive from Texas with 3—last trip 7, 4, & 2). Then when kids are sleeping at night, it’s so very easy to transfer them to bed with little chance of disturbing their sleep. It is also so much easier and faster to get to the parks. It’s really just as easy as a monorail resort, from my experience. Then the FW campgrounds just have a ton of things going on.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry it took a few days to respond. I have been out of town for the holidays.

I am leaning towards the FW Cabins just for the extra space and seperate sleeping areas and I like the idea of parking right in front.

Since more than likely we will be driving, we are going break it up over 2 days. We are not long distance drivers and the kid can't/won't tolerate the car seat for too long. We plan to drive as far as Alexandria, LA the first day and the arrive at WDW on the second. Driving directions say 23 hours if we do it all all once.:scared1:

Thanks again.
