I was thinking about how I'm not a big fan of the dinners on Disney cruises. Since my next one will be for my honeymoon I'll probably splurge a bit. For the specialty dining restaurants (Palo and Remy) how many times are you allowed to book these ahead of time? Is it just once each? These menus don't change at all though right? I'm not sure if I'd want the same thing twice, has anyone done these a few times on one cruise, was it too repetitive?
I'll be on the Fantasy, which I've never sailed before, but I've been on the Dream. I think two of the three MDR restaurants are the same on both ships? I was thinking it would be best to schedule these for those nights, but I don't want to miss any of their main shows. I know Remy takes a while, does Palo too? If we mention we want to make the show will they speed the dinner up?
I'll be sailing in concierge, would they know what night the shows will be on to schedule my dinners on different nights? Or is that not something decided ahead of the sailing? I've also thought about having the MDR in the room one night. We'll be in the one-bedroom. How does this work, we just pick one of the menus we like and order it? Is it awkward having the wait staff serving it in the room? Will the food be cold since the room is a lot farther from the kitchen?
Sorry that was a lot of questions!
