Trying to plan 2015 -help

We are "trying" to make travel plans for 2015 .
2 Adults(middle 50's and middle 60's).

We staying at our home resort AKV,but which week has us stumped

Not knowing what will go on is driving me crazy(I'm a planner).

I have know idea if its going to be busy (Events) or slow . I like it some where in between.

Here are the weeks we picked.


Nov 8 to Nov 15,2015
Nov 29 to Dec 6, 2015

Dec 06 to Dec 13, 2015(Is this Pop Warner Week??- And do the groups stay at AKV)

Please any help would greatly be appreciated.

We're both in our 60's and love to stay between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

11/8 - 11/15 is not Pop Warner, and "Jersey Week" is the previous week. AKV / AKL is not known as a "group" hotel. Never been a recommended resort for Pop Warner. For 2015, Pop Warner week will most likely be 12/5-12/12

Both December weeks would be good. Pop Warner kids stay at the values and one of the Mods. In our experience, they are not a problem as far as the parks go. You won't encounter them at any of the DVC resorts.

Our advice is to just pick one of the December weeks to experience all of the Holiday activities, but any of the 3 weeks you picked should be fine. You may find lower airfare if you can avoid flying the Sunday after Thanksgiving weekend.

DW and I have been every year the 2nd week of Dec since '93.
Great time to travel as the holiday decorations are all up in the parks and resorts.

We like to go mid-October - catch the Halloween and F&W events

The only things I know about in December are the member meeting Dec 11 - Merry Mixers (Wednesdays??) and the MK Holiday Party.

Nov. 8 through 15 is usually around the time of Jersey week and the marathon. Also, the last weekend of the food and wine. Last yeAr, we planned our trip for the MNSSHP and then the MVMCP forgetting about the marathon and jersey week. That last weekend it was mobbed at EPCOT . We have gone the beginning of December. It was great seeing the parks all done, going to the different resorts to see the gingerbread houses, the candlelight processional (fantastic) . Was not that crowded at all.
