Trying to not be Disney-blind on resort decision.

We're going down for a long weekend (4 nts) in November, late decision and pickings are slim for resorts.

We always stay on property and I don't even shop offsite hotels but we have 5 this time and need more space. I'd book AoA and be done with it but we need one more bed.

The least expensive 2 room option available on property is over 2k which is insane for a weekend IMO so within $75 of each other there is a cabin at FW or 2 rooms at Wyndham Garden across from Disney Springs. (that's including resort fees and transportation at WG) *Not taking into account a golf cart rental at the Fort, not sure we'd do that.

(I stayed at WG for a couple nights several years ago when my flights were bumped and it seemed ok from what I recall but reviews are eh)

SO - what would you pick?
4 adults and 1 17-year old who is basically an adult.

Cabin....benefit on being on property and all that entails but the 23/17 yo will be in the bunks next to SO and I, my sister on the pullout. One bath.

WG...two full rooms and separate baths. Off property but walking for DS and golf.

This trip is only MVMCP and holiday resort wandering/shopping. Not a parks trip. We typically Lyft wherever we go unless we luck into a bus arrival.

Logically it is probably smarter to be in two rooms vs crammed in the cabin but ugh I always feel like I'd be missing out if I'm not on property.

Thanks for any input. :)

If it's not a parks trip, stay off property with the extra bathroom. You'll be much happier with an extra bathroom

I'd say find a nice disney springs resort, whether it's WG or another one. You can park at Disney Springs and take the buses to do your resort hopping.

Treehouse Villa at Saratoga Springs? Two queen beds, one set of bunks, one queen sleeper, one twin sleeper.

The bedroom in the cabin is really small. It would feel sort of like sleeping in a tent together.
