Is anyone else (seriously) trying to lose a significant amount of weight in their last few days? I have exactly one month to go and I am just so upset about my weight:guilty: . I began my diet 2 days ago and have lost one pound. My ultimate goal is 40 pounds, but my Disney goal is 15 pounds? Can it be done? I'm working really hard....(like NOT chowing down a sundae while I write this...) Otherwise, every time I hand DH the camera, I'll have to say that stupid thing I always say: "From the waist up, ok???"

Not that this will necessarily help before you leave :) but I see that your DS is 2! When my DS was 2 he was into EVERYTHING! I swear I'm at least 25 pounds lighter now than I was when he was a year old! I tell everyone it was thanks to him!! I spent his every waking hour chasing him!!!!!!!

Now that he's 5 it's a little better... but anything over 5 minutes in the bathroom usually means there's going to be a flood :scared1:

We leave in 3 weeks and I'm thinking I should start walking a little bit every day just so the parks won't be such a big shock!!! (They should have a smiley on a treadmill for us to use!)

True - I can't find a treadmill, but I did find these.....popcorn:: :stir: :cake:

You're too funny! I think I'll go grab a snack now before I head to bed! Where, by the way, I'll just lie awake in the dark and think of things for my list(s)

I'm not sure if this will come through, but I found one! Nevermind... it wouldn't copy :(

Hello!

Im not sure if your into drugs (legal ones), but I tried the new Xenedrine RFA-1 / Clinically proven etc...I lost 9 lbs the first week and another 3 the second. Its been a month and in the last two weeks lost 3 more pounds.

I have not been dieting at all, but I am not as hungry. Side effect...my mouth feels dry often, so Im drinking a lot more water than normal. The one change I did make was to walk 1/2 hour per day right after I take the morning pills.

Good Luck!

I have the same goal.
Losing 2lbs per week is a plausible goal.
Diet/Exercise is recommended.
I am a type1 diabetic and my blood sugar gets really low when I do core training, which is what I did when I was in HS Volleyball. So now, I went to target and bought the Yoga Booty Ballet for 20 dollars. I recommend this program. It comes with a meal plan for 7 days & a plan for weight loss goals.

Discovery Health also has the "National Body Challenge" you get a meal/exercise plan according to your goal weight.

I am currently 177. My goal is 140-130.
For instance you put in 177 and it calculates a MP and EP to your ideal body weight.

-Exercise on a every other day basis.
-Cardio is GOOD.
-drink a lot of water.
-eat more protein (it builds the muscle)
-maintain portion sizes.

Even continue this on your trip to Disney.

I hope this goes well for you.

I was to lose about 40 to 50 lbs too...I'm at about 175, we're going in 2 months for my birthday. I usually can't follow a diet, but I can drink water instead of Diet Coke, eat salad, and eat more lean meats, I try to do that anyways, but usually end up having a piece of chicken that's bigger then me! My problem is sweets and portion size...I'm gonna crack down on monday, so I hope I can stick to it this time, it would be nice to be down about 15- 20 lbs by mid january! I have quite a few pairs of jeans in a size 12 that I would LOVE to get into again! Thanks for listening to me ramble! Keep up the good work ya'll!!

I would like to loose about 10 before we leave. I just need that cushion so that I won't worry about what I will surely gain on the DDP. My plan is to drink only water, eat smaller portions at mealtime and increase my walking. Anyway good luck.

I would like to lose 20 lbs before my trip in May. Totally doable if I actually try and not just say I will try.;)
Sorry to say I have gained a few lbs the last couple of months because the weather has turned cold and I don't get out for my walk. The treadmill just isn't the same but I have to do it. It also makes it easy to walk around the parks.
I am also looking at the Wii Fit for something fun to do that gets me moving indoors.
Man, I hate winter.:headache:

I just can't take the pills, I hate taking any kind of pills unless I really have to. I also had a friend that was hospitalized this last spring from weight loss pills he was taking-shut down his liver. Sad because he will never fully recover and was not that overweight to begin with. Just be careful about taking drugs.

Hi,
I used to be pretty obese and started putting on a lot of weight especially on my thighs and bottom in my late thirties. I started exercising as often as possible and also cut down on a lot of high calorie stuff. Unfortunately I hardly managed to lose much weight at all. I then recently read an article by a lady who claimed that she managed to lose nearly half of her weight using a particular weight loss supplement. I tried it out and it actually worked quite well. Within 4 months I managed to lose about 65 pounds. The results were pretty amazing and I feel so much healthier and energetic now. You can read more about the lady's article at

Thanks for all the encouragement. As you know, losing weight is one of the hardest things to do! I pray for each one of you who have weight loss goals that you would all be successful in reaching them!
