Trying to figure Out Room Costs

Agree - we haven't stayed at any DVC resort that we didn't like and I liked the PVB a lot, too. However, it's very difficult to pay those nightly costs, when we can get a 1 bedroom SV at the BWV for about the same cost. Glad I experienced PVB, BLT & VB, but will probably not stay at any of them again due to the nightly point cost, which exceeds the BWV's by quite a bit. Still love BWV the best and will continue to stay there pretty much exclusively.

I LOVE the one bedrooms and now we do a one bedroom when we go to Hilton Head in summer. Everyone can get away in July. But my BWV trips are usually 1-2 people and it's hard to hit that button for the one bedroom when I don't know if family can go. I can get away any month except august but the rest of the family are more restricted. Winter is when I really like to visit Florida.

I usually go twice a year and am around 50/50:

2013 - BLT, VGC & BWV
2014 - VGF & BWV
2015 - VGC & BWV
2016 - Poly & BWV
2017 - VGC (hopefully) & BWV

We have been doing split stays on the non-BWV, I book nights on points, my friend books nights on CM discount cash. That gets around the high point costs.
