Trying to decide between the Poly and CR

We have been going back and forth between the Poly and the CR and it pretty much comes down to this--which hotel do you think has better transportation--the Poly or CR? We will be spending equal time in all of the parks and will NOT have a car. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

LOVE all the transportation options at the Poly! You can walk to the TTC!! Makes it super easy to get to MK or Epcot via monorail quickly. Both resorts share buses with each other and the GF. I haven't stayed at CR yet, but hands down Poly has the best monorail access.

I have stayed at both and would have to say CR because the walk to MK was so short and convienent. I actually don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Unless you have little ones, in which case being able to walk to and from MK gets more points in my book, I would vote for Poly. You can walk to TTC to take the Epcot monorail or to get direct buses to other parks (or take the buses from other parks to TTC if you see that one come before a Poly bus), and are a quick boat ride or monorail ride to the MK.

Well.. this is a part of our story.... Booked the CR and just yesterday changed my res. to the Poly. for 100.00 more, I went with the Poly. Both places have great transportation. Poly little more so to Epcot (cause the monorail is there) but the difference is a whopping 5 mins...so they are both great.

I would go with the Contemporary because of the walkway to the Magic Kingdom, their rooms are among the biggest of the Deluxe Resorts, all their Tower rooms come with a balcony and it's something you need to request at the Polynesian. Plus they also have a hot tub next to their main pool and a GYM to work out at, which are two things not available at the Polynesian. Finally their room rates are less expensive.

We stayed at CR last year, haven't stayed at the Poly (yet!) but have spent a lot of time at the resort.

IMO, both are fantastic transportation-wise. The walkway from the CR to the MK is absolutely wonderful! Getting in and out of the MK can be a nightmare, especially at closing, but the walkway lets you bypass all of that chaos.

That said, points to the Poly for being able to walk to the TTC. If you're going to Epcot from the CR, you will have to change monorails at the TTC. Not a massive inconvenience, but an inconvenience none the less. From the Poly, you would just walk over to the TTC and get right on the Epcot monorail.

I really don't think you can go wrong either way!
