DH speaks in $ sense. LOL!

So we would do the usual, fly out of Buffalo using SW.

But then what? It would be a quick trip Mon.-Fri. or Mon.-Thurs.

We have always stayed in houses off site, Windsor Hills, Emerald Isle and Indian Creek in the past.

But with a quickie trip like this what would be the best way to go? If I know him he will want a rental car for sure.

What would be the best deal going for a quick trip?

Condo rental? If so, which one?

Townhouse rental?

On site hotel? I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Boardwalk and it's where I want to be, but don't have the cash for that sadly.

Is Swan & Dolphin reasonable? Can you walk to the boardwalk from there? What are the pool areas like?

TIA!:flower3:

Oh sorry, I misread the subject as "Trying to convince DH we should do a quickie, advice? "

I missed the "4 day trip to WDW" part...

I had some advice, but I don't really think it's applicable anymore.

What about trying priceline ?? It might give you a nice 3 or 4 star hotel for cheaper than you'd pay for a 2 star. AND it would appeal to hubby's centsibility...:thumbsup2 I would take a look at www.biddingfortravel.com and see what the going rate in the Downtown Disney area - you should be able to get a good deal! Have fun!

OR, you could stay at Disney at a Value Resort. Magical Express and Disney transport could save you a car rental.:wizard:

funny thing, he doesn't need any convincing for that:rolleyes1

Too funny - I do love the title of this post!! :rotfl:

But if it is travel you are speaking about - we are doing a quickie 4 day trip too in May and we were able to get a great deal with the 40% room rate at Disney on site, that was even better than most of the hotels I checked on expedia, etc. It worked out well too as it will only be one vacation day.

Good luck in convincing him - at least with SW if you see the flight cheaper you can get the credit on your account for next time.

P.S - maybe another kind of quickie will help sway the decision....LOL:lmao: - sorry couldn't help myself.
