Trying to combine FW trip with Capital One Bowl

Now that my LSU tigers are headed to Orlando for a new yrs Capital One bowl I would like to go to FW in the motorhome and then on to the bowl game. HOWEVER there is nothing in FW between Christmas and NEw Yrs. What are the chances that something will come available? I know it is not much of a chance but had to ask. Trying to decide on whether to just bite the bullet and make a Wilderness Lodge ressie and be done with it or to keep playing the call in every morning game only to be told that they have nothing. Any advice from those who go regularly during the holidays would be appreciated.

2) But, as you mentioned, the chances are slim.
3) It is such a popular time to camp at FW!
4) You get both holiday vacationers and long-stay snow birds.
